Hi! So this isn't awkward at all, I've been meaning to continue this for so long. I've been continuing Pan's story in my head and it's now finally making its way onto my laptop. Let me know what you think!

Reviews are really appreciated.

Disclaimer: The Avengers and Loki do not belong to me, Pan on the other hand is all mine.

Time seemed to move differently whilst Pan sat opposite Loki, though she wasn't sure if it was faster or slower. The cold sensation was constantly swirling through her mind and down into her limbs, she couldn't seem to shake it. Loki now had a walkthrough of her history as a SHIELD agent, it was his next words that shook away some of the cold that clouded her mind however.

"Such a colourful employment you have lead. All to bring you here, and such a shame about your good friend… Agent Coulson?" The sarcasm dripped from his voice and his eyes glinted with a fierce excitement as he waited for her reaction.

"His departure was necessary for what is about to unfold." A shiver shot down her spine as she said these words, her voice sounded dead and nothing like her own. She wanted to twist her neck or shake her head, do something to dislodge the sickening feeling. Nothing happened, her body was not her own and her mind belonged to Loki. In reaction to her words the edge of his mouth twitched upwards in a half smile, anything he was about to say was lost as Pan's expression changed once more.

Recognition showed on Pans face as her gaze was directed out of the floor to ceiling windows lining the room. What would have been to normal eyes a small speck moving in the skyline, was a distinctive red and gold glimmer to her enhanced vision. "Sir, it appears as though the first of our guests has arrived, and we are currently sat in his living room." Pan informed Loki with a small incline of her head toward the figure heading toward them.

Loki turned to take in the approach of Tony Stark, he then rose and moved toward the doors leading onto the balcony. Pan watched Loki as he moved away from her, she had the urge to stand but her body would not listen, she could only sit and watch Iron Man land outside the tower. The two men observed each other as they entered the building, Stark allowing his armour to be removed, both of their expressions showed confidence.

Pan could only observe as both men entered the penthouse, their eyes were on each other assessing any weaknesses that could be exploited. Stark seemed confident as he approached the stairs that descended to the bar area. Loki of course was the first to speak.

"Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity." His words were a taunt dripping with humour. Loki was assuming all humans were the same, the old Pan would have made a snide comment about assuming and making asses, but the current Pan merely stood.

"Actually I'm planning on threatening you." Tony's come back was that of a typical Stark, cocky and so sure of success.

"You should have left your armour on for that." Loki knew he was physically stronger and could easily break Stark in half if he so wished, the god was toying with Tony. As Pan made her first move to stand just behind her commander her and Tony's eyes met. Her eyes were crystal and she observed his expression as he added this factor into the equation.

"Well it's seen a bit of mileage and you've got the glow stick of destiny… and a bodyguard." He seemed calm and collected as he neared Loki, but in that second his eyes slipped from Pan back to Loki she felt herself wanting to scream. "Do you want a drink?"

Loki merely laughed at this, shifting his sceptre from one hand to the other, "Stalling me won't change anything and one can always use an audience."

"No, not stalling, threatening. No drink, you sure? I'm having one." Stark moved toward his bar and standing behind it picked out a glass.

"The Chitauri are coming, nothing can change that. What have I to fear?" Loki replied as he placed toward the window and then turning back to Stark.

"The Avengers." It sounded like a statement but Pan could see the confusion on Loki's face as Tony announced their band of heroes. Tony rolled his eyes a little as began to pour his drink.

Loki looked to Pan and she felt herself step forward, Tony watched her as she entered their verbal sparring match. "That's what they call themselves, sir. It's a sort of team. Earths mightiest heroes' all together." She spoke quickly, hands held behind her back eyes attentive on Loki.

"Yes I've met them." Loki smirked and looking at Stark once more he added, "I mean I have one right here do I not?"

"Yeah, takes us a while to get any traction underneath that one." Tony smiled unimpressed, he carried on regardless "But let's do a head count here; your brother the demi god, a super soldier the living legend who kinda lives up to the legend," Pan watched as he reeled of the list of earths saviours and noticed as Stark paused ever so slightly to look down. "A man with breath taking anger management issues, a couple of master assassins, and the mysterious and deadly mutant stood next to you." At this moment Stark glanced at her gesturing to her with his glass of scotch. Turning back to Loki Tony looked almost disappointed "And you big fella you've managed to piss off every single one of them."

"That was the plan." Loki was almost gleeful, his sceptre held relaxed under one arm.

"Not a great plan. When they come, and they will they'll come for you." The Iron Man chose this moment to make his move, stepping out from behind the bar drink in hand.

"I have an army." Loki said in a tone that showed he wasn't playing now.

"We have a hulk." Pan was sure this was turning into a good old fashioned pissing match, as she watched Tony take the steps down toward Loki.

"Oh I thought the beast had wondered off." Loki always seemed to have a retort for everything.

"You're missing the point, there's no throne. There is no version of this where you come out on top." Tony was getting frustrated now, she could hear it in his voice. "Maybe you're army comes, and maybe it's too much for us but it's all on you. Cause if we can't protect the earth you can be damn well sure we'll avenge it." He looked at Pan again and she met his eyes. Fighting the darkness in her mind for what felt like the millionth time she wanted to say yes! We will! But she could only look on, Loki's puppet, his glorified audience. Pan saw in Tonys' gaze a promise that if he could help he would and she took that and held onto it.

"How will your friends have time for me when they're so busy fighting you." Loki's words were like venom as he lifted his sceptre to Tony's chest. It began to glow in a way Pan recognised, worry for Starks safety made her fight harder against the cold around her mind. She needn't have worried as the next sound was the clink of metal on metal. The arc reactor! "This usually works." The confusion in Loki's voice was almost laughable and had they been in a completely different situation it would have been. He tried again, but nothing happened with the same clinking sound wringing out in the quiet penthouse.

"All performance issues, not uncommon, one out of five." Stark was calm, drink still in hand, as if he was never in any danger of being turned into a weaponised puppet. Loki's reaction was swift as he grabbed Stark by the throat and tossing him easily to the floor. Pan hadn't known Stark long but she knew she had to do something to protect him. Seeing him climb onto his hands and knees was the push she needed to break the ice encasing her mind.

"Jarvis, any time now." Stark quietly spoke to the air around them, standing only to be grabbed once more by the God he had just defied. Letting out a gentle breath as her body became her own again, she stepped forward unsteadily trying to reach Tony before Loki killed him.

The trickster gods next words were full of rage and promise as he lifted Stark from the floor "You will all fall before me." Pan wasn't fast enough, watching Loki throw Stark through the impressive window and out into open air for a long drop to the pavement below.

Pans heart was racing as she prepared herself for a fight. It was delayed though as both of them were knocked sideways as they dodged what she could only describe as a red metal rocket roaring past them.

Regaining her composure Pan reached Loki and managed to surprise him at least a little, grabbing his arm holding the sceptre and pulling him to face her. His eyes widened as she aimed a jab to his throat to try and incapacitate him quickly. For all of her extra strength it did little except force him backwards. Before he recovered she twisted the arm she still held in an attempt to make him drop the sceptre. Loki twisted out of her grip with ease though and preceded to aim a backhand swipe with the sceptre at her head. Shying backwards she felt it graze past her face.

Movement out of the now open window made them both pause as a fully suited Iron Man appeared. "And there's one other person you pissed off, his name was Phil." Loki started to raise his sceptre but wasn't fast enough as Iron Man extended his hand and fired a propulsor at the Gods chest knocking him off his feet and to the floor.

Tony turned to Pan next, "Are you ok?" Pan could hear the wariness in his voice. Before she could answer the sound of the portal machine starting up came from the roof.

Stark looked up towards what Pan knew was a giant hole in the sky with an alien army starting to pour through it. "Right… army." Tony's words were quiet and almost in disbelief, he glanced once more in her direction.

"Go, I'm fine." Pan told him in answer to his earlier question. She wasn't sure how believable she sounded but the next second Tony had nodded slightly and was shooting up out of her line of vision.
