.:Shake It Out:.
"He loves me. He loves me not…"
Blaine chanted under his breath as he plucked the petals from a daisy, one-by-one.
"Blaine? Can I come in?" Kurt asked as he quietly rapped on the door.
Blaine jumped not expecting Kurt to find him.
"Sure." He replied trying to conceal a sniffle.
"Watcha doing?" Kurt asked as he entered nervously.
"Nothing. You?" Blaine asked.
"Blaine-" Kurt started hearing the sadness drip from his boyfriend's voice.
"Please, Kurt." Blaine cut in.
He honestly didn't know how much more he could take. He sighed as he felt Kurt grab his shoulder.
"Kurt, I am so sorry…" He sobbed.
"Blaine, this isn't your fault. It's mine." Kurt sobbed with him.
Blaine dropped the flower and turned to Kurt.
"No, if I just talked to you I wouldn't have distanced myself from you which wouldn't have had you looking for attention from someone else." Another sobbed escaped.
"That doesn't matter Blaine. I shouldn't have done that to you. Instead, I should have come and talked to you." Kurt rested his forehead against the countertenor's shoulder.
Blaine closed his eyes and absentmindedly wrapped his arms around his boyfriend. They both sat there, held each other, and cried over the plucked petals. After a few long minutes Blaine grabbed Kurt's hand and kissed the back of the soft flesh.
"You are the love of my life and I am so sorry." Blaine whispered through his tears.
"I love you too, Blaine. So much. I am sorry too, and I promise to talk to you next time." Kurt whispered against Blaine's neck.
He kissed the same spot eliciting a shiver from the boy.
"Me too." Blaine said as he pulled the other boy into his lap.
Kurt sucked in a deep breath and relaxed in his embrace and Blaine sighed.
After a few moments Kurt eyed the forgotten flower.
"You still have three petals left." Kurt broke the silence.
"Do what?" Blaine asked.
"You still have three petals left." Kurt repeated grabbing the daisy from the floor and twirling it between in thumb and fore finger.
"I don't even remember wh-"
"He loves me not." Kurt reminded him.
Blaine smiled as he took the flower from Kurt.
"He loves me, he loves me not. He loves me." He chanted, smile growing as the last petal hit the ground.
Kurt grabbed the stripped stem and snaked his arms around Blaine's neck.
"Forever and always." The brunette whispered against Blaine's lips.
Blaine tightened his arms around Kurt's waist and kissed him showing him how much he believed that statement to be true.
