AN: This is my take on the series finale. Got this idea from the preview

"Mary, Marshall." Stan greeted when he walked into the office, 2 hours late.

"Well Stan. Look who's late this time. You do know that's against the rules, right?" Mary taunted.

"Well Mary. I could just tell Marshall the news, and have you figure it out on your own." Stan suggested. That piked Mary's curiosity.

"Good news or bad news?" She asked suspiciously.

"Wish I could say it was good." He answered.

"Tell Marshall first. I've had a bad enough week." Mary grumbled. Stan raised his eyebrows but didn't object.

Marshall got up from his desk and followed Stan into his office. Curious, Mary watched them. She listened hard but couldn't hear anything.

After about 5 minutes, Marshall came back out. He looked grief-stricken.

"What's wrong?" Mary immediately asked Marshall. She could tell something was wrong.

"I think we should talk about this outside." He suggested.

"You can tell me right here, right now." She said, warning him not to pester with her.

"Just follow me." He demanded, but wasn't very threatening because his voice cracked. Worried, she followed him out to the balcony.

He was already out there, and she could see his eyes watering.

"What's wrong?" She demanded once again.

"This morning, Stan was called into an emergency meeting this morning."

Marshall began.

"He was notified that our Albuquerque section of The Witness Protection program is being closed down." He said to Mary.

"What?" She screamed. A million emotions flooded through her. Marshall tried to calm her down, but she wouldn't.

"Don't tell me to calm down. I sure as hell won't be calm in a time like this. What will happen to us? Will I have to move again? Will we ever see each other again?" Mary blurted. Marshall could see the tears in her eyes threatening to spill.

"I don't know. Stan is trying to get us into an office together but I don't know if it'll happen." Marshall said to her. They were both quiet for a few minutes.

"Mary, no matter what, even if we are 1,000 miles away from each other, I'll be here for you. If you call, I'll come, every time." He said to her, his voice choking up.

"Marshall..." Mary started.

"I love you." He blurted out. He could see the surprise in her eyes.

"Wow...Marshall. " Mary whispered. She gave him a big hug, an started crying.

"I love you Marshall. I'm going to miss you." She whispered into his ear.

"Don't say farewell. We'll always be together."

AN: Done! Hope you liked it. I know Mary says "Don't say farewell," in the preview, I just made Marshall say it. Sorry if there's anything misspelled or bad punctuation. I typed this on my phone. Please review!
