"Stupid..." Lovino growled out as another scar was placed on his arm from the bloody blade in his hand, ruining the once flawless skin on the Italian boy's body and staining it with red. A delicious, crimson red that looked so beautiful as it rolled down porcelain white skin.
"Worthless..." he choked out, cutting more into his arm and shivering from the pain. He deserved this. He wasn't loved by anyone or anything. Who would care? Nobody. Nothing.
"Piece of shit..." he whispered, cutting deeper until he nearly cried out, already feeling lightheaded. If he were to die right here, what would everyone do? Sure, some might cry but then they'd forget about him.
Feliciano would be comforted by all of his friends while Lovino was the real victim here. Everyone would comfort his younger brother until he forgot and no one would even know Lovino Vargas existed.
That's what was supposed to happen. He'd rather be forgotten, buried into the ground rather than being treated like he was nothing. Sure, Feliciano was cuter and nicer and a better cook and a better artist and better at cleaning...
Why couldn't anyone see that Lovino could do other things too? Why...?
"Why?" he cried out, tears dripping off of his chin and burning the open wounds in his arms. Lovino hissed but stayed silent other than that, letting his tears fall and his cuts burn. No one would care. No one does care. They probably wouldn't even have a funeral for him, just bury him in the backyard like a dead goldfish.
Lovino snorted at the thought. Why hadn't he done this earlier? It would have released the burdens off of everyone's shoulders, would have rid everyone's minds of that bitchy Lovino Vargas. Lovino Vargas, the cussing machine. Lovino Vargas, the terrible older brother.
He knew he wouldn't be free of these titles, but as long as he was free of the people and things in this world, he didn't care. If he didn't care, nobody would care. Nobody would care at all. These five words rung through Lovino's head as he slowly lie back onto his bed, his eyesight going fuzzy before finally turning black.
Nobody would care.
