Kegin: Greetings my dear readers. No your eyes do not deceive you; this story is finally getting a new chapter. I know it's been a few years, and I honestly have no idea where the time has gone. However, I am almost done healing from my surgery so…BONUS~!

Also….should I've decided against adding Mortal Kombat: Conquest to this story. I honestly have more than enough for this story as it is.

Last time on Naruto: the Kombatant

Mileena looks up at him, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "You don't deserve what those evil villagers do. You deserve to be honored for what you were a part of. Without you, they'd be dead. And yet, they want to hurt you without a reason." Her arms wrap around him tighter. "Mileena will make certain that they regret what they did to you."

"Indeed they will." Shao Khan's voice calmly declared.

Everyone looked away from the touching scene; even the two involved in it, and looked at the emperor.

"Father…what do you mean?" Kitana asked her step-father with a curious look in her eyes. "What I mean Kitana, is that these…fools, threw away one with near infinite potential. And I intend to make certain that they deeply regret that action." Turning his gaze from his step-daughter to Naruto he continued. "What say you…Naruto? Will you be my champion? Will you prove to those fools how wrong they were in keeping you weak?" narrowing his crimson eyes "What. Say. You?"

Naruto looked at the emperor and thought on his words. He could become powerful, respected, and maybe….more." His mind made up, Naruto said the words that would forever change the course of history once and for all…

"I accept."

Now

Shao Khan looked at the young male who had just accepted his offer and narrowed his glowing eyes in thought as he glanced over his form. "Hmmm…as you are now Mortal, you are weak." He declared bluntly. "However…that is easily fixed. The foolish sorcerer behind me will be able to reopen the portal to your realm in six months. In that time, you will come to Outworld to train under my personal supervision. But in the meantime," the emperor's gaze turned towards his warriors, "Kitana, you and your group will train him to be able to go through with his training here in Outworld. You have six months to make him as strong as possible. We have only a single year to make my new champion ready for the tournament and I expect to have results. Do not fail me." Without waiting for a response, the emperor's visage faded as the amulet's glow faded.

Taking her eyes off the amulet, the Blue Princess turned and looked at her new charge for the next six months. "Why are you still holding him Mileena?"

Indeed, the Tarkatan/Edenian Hybrid still held the young shinobi in her arms. However, his face seemed to be a rather burning crimson due to his face being placed directly in the deep cleavage that her outfit did nothing to hide from the world.

"But I like holding him Sister." The half-sister of Kitana pouted…well pouted as much as she could with her face covered by her veil.

"That may be Princess," SKarlet's soft tone rang, "However our new pupil looks as if he may pass out due to your rather close embrace."

Looking down at the blond in her arms, Mileena saw that Naruto's face had gone from a violent crimson to a frightening shade of blue. "NARUTO!?" she wailed as she held him even tighter against her bosom, "PLEASE DON'T DIE!" he then began to foam at the mouth.

Sighing at the rather comical scene, Kitana gripped the scruff of his jacket before hoisting him out of her 'sister's' arms and setting him on the ground. She then turned to Mileena, whose tears had seemingly vanished.

*sigh* "Milleena," she droned, "When you saw his face going blue you shouldn't have held him tighter." She exasperated.

Poking her index fingers together cutely, Mileena then stood up to look at her, "I know but normally when I hold someone and they're choking I'm supposed to hold them tighter…" she then looked down.

Unable to believe the scene before her, Jade could only think. 'When in the realms has Mileena ever acted like this?' She was pulled out of her thoughts when she noticed Naruto hadn't moved. "It looks like he may be out for a while, what should we do?"

"We can't do anything yet." Skarlet pointed out, "we have no knowledge of the layout of this realm; nor where Naruto lives. We have no choice but to wait until he awakes."

Sighing to herself, Jade could only sit down in front of the downed blond. "So we have to play the waiting game? How droll."

*One Hour Later*

Naruto groaned as he returned to the conscious world, with fleeting thoughts of voluptuous flesh in his head. 'Geez, that's the last time I have ramen with lemonade before training.' He thought as he shook his head to rid himself of the headache forming. 'Honestly, me agreeing to join some Warlord from another world? I must have hit my head harder than I thoug-' his train of thought then proceeded to derail and crash as he looked up and saw the pre-mentioned 'voluptuous flesh' (ie. Mileena's chest) almost directly in front of him.

"Holy crap you're real!?" he yelped with shock as he backed up looking at the women in front of him.

"Of course we're real." A voice behind him said. He turned to see the woman with the darker skinned woman from before. "Now that you have finally decided to join us it's time to finally get down to business."

"Wait a moment," Naruto said as he began to look around, "Where's the one with the Red Hair?"

Kitana then chose to speak, "Skarlet is her name and after waiting for fifteen minutes without you waking up, she decided to put her time to good use and look around for a better layout of the land."

Nodding in acceptance, Naruto scooted closer to the women who were sitting in a spread out circle before opening his mouth with a question. "So is this where we open with who we are?"

With an eyebrow raised before nodding slightly, "I supposed we should introduce ourselves properly as we are going to be seeing each other quite frequently for the next six months." She began before continuing.

"My name is Kitana; I am the Princess of Outworld and the daughter of its emperor Shao Khan."

She then looked at her other companions while Naruto's eyes bulged slightly at finally realizing he was in front of a princess of all things.

'And a rather beautiful one at that…' he noted before looking at Jade who had begun to speak.

"I am Jade, Princess Kitana's protector as well as her sparring partner." She voiced in a mild tone.

Stunned, he turned to the scantily clad woman who had almost killed him mere moments ago.

Giggling slightly, she looked at him. "My name's Mileena. And we're gonna have fun getting you ready to be Daddy's champion." She explained with another giggle.

Naruto nodded at the information before his eyes bulged even further as he realized something.

"Wait a moment, then does that make you two siste-" he was interrupted with a glare from Kitana, gulping as he promptly shut up.

"My father had her created using MY DNA. She is nothing but a failed clone created for the crazed purpose of replacing me should I fall so that Outworld will still have an heir for the throne." Kitana declared in a simmering tone as she stood up and walked away with Jade following.

Naruto slowly stood up and was about to follow before he heard a small sniffle. Turning he saw a small tear in Mileena's eye as she sat on the ground.

Frowning lightly at her distress state, Naruto sat down next to her. Without warning, she wrapped an arm around him and held tightly as her eyes shut.

After several minutes of silence, Mileena removed herself from young shinobi. "Sorry." She mumbled, looking away as she hugged herself. She felt a hand wipe a tear away, turning she saw Naruto smiling. "Don't be." Perking up a bit, she sat up a bit straighter.

"Why did she say that stuff?" he questioned the sitting princess. Sighing a bit; she began to explain. "Daddy had Shang Tsung create me in case Sister died. He used her DNA to create a near perfect duplicate of her."

He raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean near perfect? You look just like her aside from your eyes." She shook her head before looking at Naruto. "Shang Tsung used more than sisters DNA to make me. He also used the DNA of a Tarkatan alongside as well." She noticed his confusion at the term. "The Tarkatan's are denizens of Outworld who can make blades out of the bones in their arms." Raising her hands to her face she began to lower her veil, revealing not the lovey face he had expected; but a fanged maw.

"Woah." He said breathlessly as he subconsciously backed slightly. He then noticed her form tense.

"You hate me now don't you?" she asked bitterly as her orange eyes glanced up at him. "Everyone does. No matter what I say or do, she will never see me as a sister." Tears began to fall again. "All she sees is a monster who wants to take her place."

With a cry she stood and began assaulting the nearest tree with devastation blows.

"WHY?!" she cried.

"WHY CAN'T SHE LOVE ME?!"

"ALL I WANT IS HER TO ACCEPT ME! I DON'T WANT THE THRONE! I JUST WANT HER TO LOVE ME!"

Knuckles aching and eyes blurring from an excess of tears, Mileena fell to her knees. Tenderly, she felt a pair of arms wrap around her holding her close. She held the orange clad youth to her as she cried her heart out from the years of heartache she had felt from constant rejection.

As her cries died down, she almost didn't hear his words.

"You're just like me."

Cerulean Eyes met Orange.

"W-What?" she asked almost to herself. Her brows scrunched up in confusion to his statement.

"You're just like me." He repeated. "People look at us and hate us without even trying to understand us." He brought his hand up and softly wiped her tears away with his finger. "I mean, it's true, your face isn't a masterpiece." He frowned as he said, "But, you've been nothing but sweet to me since we met. If she can't see that, then she's missing out on something great." He finished with a wide grin.

…

…

She stared at the young man whom she had bared her soul to. 'He accepts…me?' her child like voice spoke in her mind, dazed by the mere thought of such a thing.

'He accepts me!'

With that in mind, she held him tightly for a few seconds before letting go.

Orange met Blue again. Before the two had noticed, laughter erupted from the both of them.

"I trust the two of you are alright now?"

With a yelp, both Naruto and Mileena shot up almost instantaneously due to their shock at being found in such an emotional moment.

"Skarlet?!" Mileena shouted with a heavy blush, "Where did you come from?!"

Kigen: Aaaand Cut. I hope you all enjoyed this one. I certainly did. Next time we have Naruto's training begin!

Now for those of you who will no doubt ask, "Why is Mileena acting so odd?" well to answer that, In my eyes, I see Mileena as a grown women with a rather young mind. In this story, Shang Tsung still made her, but with Kitana finding out after her creation several years ago. Instead of intending to immediately replaced the Blue Princess, her purpose is at best; another potential heir. Shao Khan wants the two of them to be rival, which would make them constantly work to be better than the other. The end result would give Outworld the heir with the strongest potential, therefore in Shao Khan's eyes; the best future ruler. A dick thing to do, but let's face it, he is an asshole. Now as far as Naruto joining the team so easily, think about it from his point of view. He wants to become strong enough to become Kage and earn respect. What better way to become stronger than to become the Champion of an entire REALM? In that moment he took his chance and we will see what will happen as an end result. In regards to the pairings, I'm thinking of having a few more before ending the polls. Only two of the current MK women on the poll will be on it, so this is the last poll for them. First two MK girls to TWENTY votes are on it. The Naruto polls will have until the Chunin Exams. Sooo, Three to five more chapters. Let me know what you guys think on this chapter. In the meantime, I'm gonna go eat my precious Cheesecake~!
