Donna walked into to the library, looking for the Doctor. Her hairdryer was on the fritz again and she wanted the Doctor to fix it.
"Doctor?" she called as the TARDIS had prompted her to go to the library. "My hairdryer needs sonicking again."
There was no answer but she could hear him shuffling up above.
She climbed the spiral staircase and walked along one of the long rows of book. How on earth did he find time to read all these books or did he even bother?
She found him on one of the moving ladders, pulling out a book.
"Are you deaf, Spaceman," she said.
"I heard you," he replied and reversed down the ladder, a large book tucked under his.
He set on a table and blew dust of it, sneezing as he did.
Donna looked at it; it looked old and it looked very valuable as it appeared to be covered in gold and precious jewels.
"I could buy a gold plated hairdryer with that.
The Doctor gave her a sharp look.
"This book Donna if you care to stop think about hairdryer is the original record of George and the Dragon. And I thought, since it's the year of the Dragon it must just find its way to the doorstep of British Museum, where it will become part of your country's heritage. Plus, it will clear up a few mistranslations about the origins of the tale."
Donna looked at the book over the Doctor's shoulder as he carefully turned the pages, which were written in beautiful writing and illustrated with drawing of bright colours.
"It's a nice story, but it ain't real."
The Doctor raised an eyebrow at her remark.
"Oh please, there was no real George and they're really can't be a dragon."
"Actually yes, the Dragon came from Ursu Five and escaped when a zoological expedition's transporter crashed in," the Doctor closed one eye as if thinking, " in about ten twenty near what is now Georgia."
"And you know this?" Donna asked her voice full of scepticism.
"That armour was heavy and it had been years since I rode a horse," the Doctor replied and closed the book and walked off.
Donna looked at his receding back and then she snorted.
"Yeah right, Spaceman."
She opened the book at the page that showed Saint George in all his glory and her jaw dropped.
There on the page, seated on a rearing white charger, lance held aloft was the Doctor.
