Ferb's POV

"I have to admit," Buford said ripping into his sandwich across from me. "that was a good prank."

I smiled and nodded taking a sip of my cherry soda.

"We couldn't have done it without you guys." Isabella teased tossing a popcorn kernel at the two gullible teens.

Baljeet played with the straw to his juice box. "It was very convincing."

Isabella laughed and nudged his shoulder. "I know 'Jeet, I was just teasing you."

Baljeet smiled looking up at Isabella.

"So Princess, you knew about them the whole time?" Buford said spitting food across the table at me and her.

Isabella closed her eyes and sighed. "First off, Buford, gross. And second, nope, found out last night when Phineas refused to kiss me." She narrowed her eyes at me.

"I wanted your first kiss to be with Phineas." I said holding my hands up. "And I didn't feel to comfortable about it."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Isabella crossed her arms.

"Watch yourself here." Buford whispered across the table.

I realized what I said and quickly corrected myself. "No, Izzy, it's just because I couldn't do that to my own brother and," I was fumbling for words and her glare remained. "Listen, Isabella it's not what-"

She started to laugh, "I was just messing with ya', Ferb." She winked. "Figured it was my turn."

I left out a shaky laugh and wiped my brow. "You had me going for a second."

"So I'm guessing last night didn't go well." Baljeet said wiping the corner of his mouth.

"Bingo." Phineas answered with a smirk.

"How do you think I got this?" I laughed pointing at my (well Phineas' in appearance) scraped face.

"Ouch." Buford said leaning in closer and pulling my head towards his direction. "Is this a purse mark?"

Isabella scoffed, "I didn't hit him Buford. I just ran away from him."

"Into a dark and wet alley." I added pulling myself from Buford's grip.

"Hehe...sorry 'bout that, Ferb." She looked down in her lap.

"Don't look so blue, Izzy." Phineas smiled grabbing her in a hug. "You two did a hundred times better than I did with Vanessa."

I narrowed my eyes. "Yeah and the proof is all of my missed calls to her." I rolled my eyes.

"I said I was sorry, buddy." Phineas said sympathetically peering over Isabella to try and catch my gaze.

I ignored him and pulled out my phone and saw no new calls. I tried again. No answer.

I groaned tossing my phone on the table. Buford picked it up and read the screen. "56 calls?" He took in a quick breath. "Sorry to say this, McGee, but she's ignoring you."

I groaned into my hands. "Thank you, Sherlock."
Isabella gave me a one armed hug. "It's okay, Ferb, we'll figure something out."

I lifted my head remembering what I had discovered earlier this morning. "Thanks for reminding me, Is." I grabbed a blue print from my backpack and layed it across the table. The others pulled their lunches away knowingly and started to read over my plans.

I pointed to the center. "Remember these, Phin?" I said. "Mom's earrings?"
Phineas' eyes widened and he face palmed. "Duh! Why didn't I think of it before? The teleporters switched Candace and Perry's body."

"How come I don't remember that?" Isabella said.

"Oh good, I thought I was left out of another project again." Baljeet.

I rolled my eyes. "That was one time, 'Jeet."

"Yeah, the one time you go back to the dinosaurs!"

I rolled my eyes and continued to explain. "There's one problem; the voices went with them, whereas with us they stayed the same." I tapped my chin in thought. "That's why I looked deeper into the building process and I am assuming that if I connect the wires differently it should work."

"Well then, what are we waiting for?" Phineas smiled grabbing the blue prints re-reading it.

"Tonight. Last time we tried building in school-"

"Ms. Cat Lady flipped a shit." Buford interrupted me.

"Buford, she's not a cat lady and we were in the middle of math class." Isabella started throw her garbage in her brown paper bag.

"Are you sticking up for her?"
Isabella sighed shaking her head, knowing this was a battle she was bound to lose.

"You guys think you're parents will let you come tonight? The more hands, the better and I really want to resolve this whole problem with Vanessa."

"Of course, Ferb."

Isabella laughed, "My mom has know you guys since like forever. I'm sure she'll be fine with it."

"I'm in."

Phineas smiled, "Thanks guys!"

Just then the bell rang and the group dispersed into the hallway to go to our next classes.

I waved goodbye and then scanned the exit looking for a familiar brunette Just because she was mad at me, doesn't mean she's mad at Phineas.

I spotted her slowly walking out with her head to the ground.
"Vanessa!" I yelled running over to her. She looked at me and turned her head away.

"Wait!" I called finally reaching her side.

"Listen, Phineas, I really don't want to talk to you or your brother right now. So just leave." She said harshly.

"Vanessa...what's wrong?" I said reaching to pull her into a hug, but she jerked away.

"Your goddamned brother! That's what!" I pulled back hurt, but listened, "You tell me to call him and I do and he says he doesn't have time to talk to me. Okay? And you know what?! Okay, I get that! The world can't revolve around me! But, then that...that...scumbag" I flinched at her wording to describe me. "is off smacking lips with Isabella the next day?! I don't know if you knew this, but him and Isabella are going behind your back! Isabella is cheating on you and... I thought me and Ferb had something, but screw that. He treated me just like Johnny so he can go straight to Hell with him!"
She growled and stormed away down the hall. "Vanessa please, I can explain!"

I called going after her, but she shook her head. "Leave me alone, Phineas." She narrowed her eyes at me and was turning around but stopped and whirled back. "And tell him to stop calling; if he can't tell, I'm ignoring him!" With that she stormed down the hall leaving me alone in the barren hallway even minutes after the bell rang.

"What have I done..." I whispered feeling tears running down my face.
This could not be happening. No.

But it was and that churning feeling in my stomach remained. I dropped to my butt and leaned against the wall crying into my hands. I am the worst human being alive. I quickly composed myself hen I heard the clacks of heels approaching and shot over to the nurses office.

I knocked twice and the nurse opened the door with a smile. "Good afternoon, Mr. Flynn-Fletcher, what can I do for you?"

"I don't feel well." I stated simply sitting on one of the chairs.
She nodded and headed to her book to fill in the details. "Alright sweetie, rest here and when you're better you can head back to class."

"No," I shook my head. "I wanna go home."

"Well, I don't know, I'd have to call your parents."

"Please?" I practically begged.

She sighed and wheeled her chair to the phone. "Who am I calling?"

"My sister." I said picking myself up and heading to the phone to dial the number.

She picked up on the 3rd ring. "Hello?"

"Hey Candace."

"Ferb? Are you okay?" She grew worried. MOM"No. May you come and pick me up please?"

"Yeah sure, are you sick? Where's Phineas?"

"He's in math."

"Okay. I'll be right there."

"Thanks. I love you."

"Love you too, Ferb." Was the last thing I heard before she left the house in a hurry to come pick me up.

I nodded at the nurse and handed her the phone and sat back down at the chairs to wait for my sister.

I can't wait for next chapter. some Candace/Ferb bonding. Can't
