Authors Note:

Hello. Just to let you know that this a collection of little fics that follow no chronological (or logical) order. All take place at some point within the three games, so there will be spoilers throughout.

This leans heavily towards Shakarian, but there will be other moments here when the romance doesn't come into it at all. I'm trying to get the feel of these characters before I attempt to rescue that train wreck of an ending for my own headcanon needs. Please please please let me know if you find a character swerving wildly ooc so I can mount an operation to salvage them. Of course, to do that you need to tell me how they are ooc, not just that they are.

Also, my military jargon is...iffy at best. I am trying to keep up with it, reading all I can on the subject while keeping it within the ME lore but yeah, lets just say that the DA lore is easier for me to get a handle on. I'm very, very rusty at sci-fi. Plus, I'm English, writing American - not as easy as it sounds.

I'm also very rusty at writing in general. A break of 4(ish) months can do that, so bear with me while I find my bearings.

They might also vary wildly in length between 500 words and 5000. Can't really say for sure, but there won't be too many of either extreme. Depends on the situation.

Anyway, here's a little about the Shepard in this story.

Spacer/War Hero
Engineer
Paragade (because sometimes, you can't ignore those renegade interrupts).
Romanced Garrus, but has something...eh, unfinished with Kaidan (she turned him away before Ilos).
Outside of everyone's favourite turian, her best friend is Wrex. She trusts them more than anyone else.
Jaw-length, red hair. Green eyes. Large scar on face during ME1, obviously removed by the Lazarus Project.

The rest will (hopefully) come out as we go along.
