This is just a small one shot idea I thought of while talking to some friends about the Geth in Mass Effect. I just couldn't help but write this.

This takes place during Mass Effect 2. Also, one or two characters my seem a little OOC, but I had to do it to make it work.

Garrus was currently sitting in his usual spot next to the newly installed Thanix Cannon on the Normandy. They had finished installing it about an hour ago and he was bored out of his mind.

He was turning a small magnet in his hand that he had found on the Citadel. He went over to the console and put the magnet down next to it. He then saw the screen get blurry and making a strange sound. He pulled the magnet away and it stopped. He then remembered that magnets screw up electronics.

He stepped out and saw a few crew members, as well as Legion, standing around the table.

He smirked as an idea came to mind. He slowly walked to the side behind Legion, so that it wouldn't notice him.

Some of the other crew members, such as Tali, Grunt, Kasumi, and Jack, were looking at him and were about to say something when he put his finger to his mouth, telling them to be quiet.

They remained silent to see what happened.

Legion was merely observing their behavior when it felt a weird buzzing.

Garrus got right behind the Geth and put the magnet right on its head.

Legion just sat there for a moment before twitching slightly and jumping up and running around making strange buzzing noises.

Garrus, Kasumi, and Jack all started laughing at the Legion's expense while said geth was running in circles yelling "GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!"

This caused Garrus to fall right on his ass laughing so hard. Eventually, Grunt, Tali, and the other present crew members were laughing.

They saw the elevator door open and Shepard walked out "What the hell is going on?"

At that moment, Legion ran into a wall and fell to the ground. It then started running on its side in circles while flailing its arms around.

Shepard walked over to the geth and saw the magnet. He then pulled it off and a moment later, Legion finally stopped twitching like crazy.

"Are you ok Legion?"

Legion stood up and wobbled a bit. The flashlight eye was flickering a bit as well. It said nothing while trying to walk back to the A.I. core…

…only to walk right into another wall and fall down again.

It didn't move but then spoke.

"We think we will stay right here for now"

Shepard shook his head while everyone else was still laughing.

"Ok, funs over. Meeting in an hour in the conference room" he said before he left.

(One hour later)

Everyone was there, except for Legion.

"EDI, where is Legion?" Shepard asked.

"Legion is currently right outside the door. He has been there for the past ten minutes" EDI reported.

Shepard walked out and saw Legion walking into a wall continuously.

"What are you doing Legion?"

"We cannot seem to stop this action or turn Shepard-Commander"

Shepard turned the geth and saw a very tiny magnet on its eye.

"Garrus!"

"It wasn't me this time Shepard" the turien stated.

"Sorry, couldn't resist Shep" Kasumi said while high-fiving Garrus.

I honestly want to see what happens when you put a magnet on a geth's head, they would go crazy!
