AN: Before there's any excitement, I just want to say, I'm sorry but this is not a new chapter. It is however going to be an update of what will be going on here.

I'll start off by saying that I'll no longer be continuing this plot on this story. I was reading back on some of my fanfics and there's a lot of things I'm unhappy about with this one, most specifically the pacing and some characterisation. The plot itself I'm fine with, but because I liked the plot that much (which makes me sound incredibly narcissistic) that led to me just wanting to get to the good parts - most specifically the parts were Klaine would become 'canon' - which wasn't helped by the fact I wasn't updating quickly so I felt like I owed it to whoever read this to make it happier. And it was definitely a bad judgement call on my part, even if you did enjoy it.

But that is absolutely no reason to be upset about this because I will be re-writing the story under a different name! It's currently fourth on my to do fanfic list, so hopefully it'll be up before the end of the month, or at the very most, the end of February. The plot will be more or less the same and so will be the events (such as the Kurtbastian break up and Burt getting attacked) but they will be taken out over a longer period of time so these things will happen a couple of chapters later than I had them happen here. There also might be a surprise here and there but for the most part, any major events - characters coming together, characters fighting, characters dying - will all be the same as they happened here with very slight variations or they'll be the same as I planned since I started writing this.

I'm really sorry for those who have been following this and after waiting over two years you find out that I'm not continuing this version anymore, but I can promise that you've not heard the last of my Hogwarts!Klaine. I just hope that you'll be willing to stick around with the repeats.

Also! Before I finish this off, I saw a review on here a while back and I want to clarify this: Blaine is a half-blood in this AU. I do get the confusion - honestly, I thought that it was as long as the parents are wizards that it meant the child would be pureblood, but it's not the case. Their families have to count and half of Blaine's family here is Muggle (as his mother was Muggleborn) so he's almost literally a half blood. Another common misconception is that half blood does mean exactly half but it's really just an umbrella term for people who have enough wizards to not be Muggleborns (like Hermione, and in this universe, Kurt and Rachel), but have too many Muggles to be purebloods (Like the Malfoys, the Blacks, The Potters, and again for this, the Smythes and the Andersons, excluding Cooper and Blaine).

It usually is just by parents and grandparents from what I've seen on the Harry Potter wikia, but considering Blaine's family are essentially like the Blacks, even though Blaine's history is more or less the same as Harry's in canon, I think they'd probably be the kind who thinks the whole family has to be pureblooded and would probably count anyone with a drop of Muggle blood (even if it's generations back) would count as a 'half blood'. So even if Blaine was a pureblood, by his family's standards, he'd be a half blood. I also like to think Blaine would probably want to call himself a half blood anyway so that he's not hiding his mother's Muggle heritage, even if he's not exactly fond of her family.

Anyway, I hope that cleared everything up, and I hope you'll enjoy the re-write!
