The snow is always so beautiful. I love everything about it, its perfect shade of white, its soft look, its cold feel, everything. It constantly reminds me of Yuu… he was always so cold and mean to everyone. But I knew that's not all there is to him. I guess you could say that's why I love him. Only I truly knew him.

Two Years Before…

"When are you coming back?"

"I already told you."

"I know… but I don't want you going, Imma miss you too much!"

"Lavi, you know I need to go, it can't be helped."

"I know but UGHHHH, stupid scholarship, just had to require 6 months in Iraq!"

He lightly chuckled.

"Don't laugh! This is serious!"

He wraps his arm around me and gently kisses my numb lips. I stare at these two little rabbits that are trying to hide in the snow. I will make Yuu enjoy his last few days with me!

One Week After Their Conversation

The helicopter is ready to take off, and I was extremely scared, I feel like something horrible is about to happen.

"Yuu, I love you with all my heart."

"I love you too, my Usagi"

"Promise you'll be back."

"Lavi…."

"Please." I pled.

He looked at me straight in the eyes and said sternly. "I promise you, I will be back."

I gave him a very long and passionate kiss, we broke away when we heard a man barking out orders to get in the helicopter. He gave me one last kiss and began to walk down to the platform. The last thing I saw before it took off was his jet black hair move around with the wind.

3 Months After Yuu Left

"NO! No. No. No, Allen you're lying!"

"Lavi, you have to calm-"

"How can I! You just told me that the love of my life is dead!" I cried.

Allen wrapped both his hands around my arms and brought me to my feet.

"Don't worry. He's in a better place."

He pulled me into a hug and I could no longer hold back my tears.

"It's okay" Allen cooed.

"Yuu's coming back, he promised, he's not going to break a promise, he'll be back." I mumbled to myself.

Back To Present

Two years have past since Yuu's "death", and I still can't move on. I know he will come back it's just a matter of time. My love, My Yuu. Could not have left this world in that horrid war, if he is to die then let it be in my arms. But I am certain Allen is lying, Yuu would not break a promise like that.
