What, a chapter? From this dead fiction? Unbelievable! Inconceivable! This was pretty much my entire thought process of making this chapter. The bad news though is that I didn't even bother to finish it completely. Fuck me right? Either way, I'll throw out another chapter sooner or later. Don't expect fast updates, but I'll attempt to do something about this fanfic. Enjoy and I'll see you, my dear reader, below.

The drums of war pounded in suit of the thunder and lightning, cracking down on the landscape as the marching of boots stomped against the soil. Angel and Devil, in the mortal plane, commenced their long awaited battle. The cries of battle drowned the storm that surged onward to house the battle. Blood will be spilled, both holy and damned, and washed away in the purifying waters.

The two armies collided in a chaotic display of violence. Many fell within seconds, stabbed, set ablaze, or vaporized. Elegant swords drew blood and a quick death while hammers shattered knees and skulls. The scent of death permeated across the valley as the casualties increased by the second. From arrows to spears of light, death was inevitable for both sides under the banner of chaos and rain.

Yet, it was not so for two immortals in the battlefield. Their blades clashed in tortured screeches, both trying to overpower the other. The immortal Horseman War and the former Red Dragon Emperor Hyoudou Issei in a wild clash of order and survival. Creatures of unimaginable strength faced off in a showdown of superiority.

Issei moved, no, flowed from a rising cut to a downward slash. The power of four dragons circulated his body, giving him the inhuman capability to challenge the Horseman. His dragons, although intelligent and reasonable, cried with primal screams for blood and revenge. Their anger was his, just as his were theirs. Another slash, this time enforced by the essence of dragons, cleaved into the Horseman's own blade. A screech of metal and stone escaped the weapons as another clash ensued between beings.

War pushed back the attack and returned with his own cleave on top of the boy's head. The blade met air as the Dragon Emperor slid towards his chest, a fatal opening for his overconfidence. His fist lashed out at Issei in an attempt to cover the opening, another lapse in judgment due to panic. His opponent spun underneath the attack, cleaving a full 360 before a palm rested on his abdomen.

"Bang." Issei smirked. The modified Dress Break turned to an explosive touch. A surge of draconic power pulsed once and knocked back the Horseman in a minor explosion. No breathing room. The first rule of combat. He lunged after War, still reeling, and planned for a quick end.

It was not so. The Horseman raised a gauntleted hand and blocked the strike, his own smirk hiding in the shadows of his hood. The sword buried itself into the gauntlet, but nowhere near the actual limb.

"A foolish move youngling." He growled. The stone sword was already moving to Issei's left side, intent on taking a chunk of his body away to feed its hunger. He released the embedded blade and retreated. It didn't matter to him anyway, he could just resummon Saizen, plus the added bonus of having used his bare hands to fight most of his enemies, it wasn't a total loss.

It was strange for Issei, who usually attacked without thinking, was so calm against an opponent like War. He had fought plenty of gods before, most of which were victories thanks to his friends assisting him, but even then, he was somewhat horrified with fighting such incredible beings. Perhaps the constant fighting has turned him into a battle maniac like Vali? It wasn't totally out of the question. Ever since his subsequent death, he had fought one opponent after another in order to get to where he was now. Living, yet at the same time, not home. The ticket there was just beyond his grasp; an army and a totally overpowered character, his final challenges.

The Horseman tore the sword out and tossed it back to him. He caught it expertly and sprung forward. War followed suit, his stature betraying his movement. The man was deceptively lithe and was emphasized by the flurry of blows and jarring movements he executed. Unfortunately for him, Issei was faster.

He didn't need the balance breaker just yet, so he settled with Saizen's Insignia to move and dodge, as well as his own skill in order to fight the Horseman. He was holding back and so was War. They both knew that much. Full strength could result in obliteration of the surrounding area, as well as the residents. It wasn't like War cared though, he would do anything to reach his target, even the death of millions won't stop him from fulfilling his mission, but he was still a man of honor. Rather fight and die in honorable combat than die like a filthy worm under a boot.

Issei weaved and ducked away from the lethal attacks, countering with his own. Neither side was successful in getting a single blow, their skill and ability offsetting their flaws, but one was bound to make a mistake in a prolonged series of dodging.

Issei made that mistake. The blade paused by an infinitesimal spec, instinctively making him hesitate. The opportunity wasn't invisible to the audience that watched nor was it for War. The blade continued to its original path, biting his left shoulder. Solid stone met fragile bone. Lengths of muscle and sinew gave way to the sharp edge, tearing like fabric. The weapon didn't stop. Reaching just above the heart, it sawed itself out of the shoulder with War delivering a swift kick to the chest.

He skidded to a halt in front of his friends, a trail of blood behind him. Pain was coursing through every nerve in his body, screaming to be relieved from the agony. It did not come. None of the girls had dabbled in healing magic, save Nanami, but with her siding with War, it was impossible to heal the fatal wound.

"Issei!" The girls yelped in terror, scrambling over the wounded boy. Yuuki and Lily pressed against the gash. It was just short of complete amputation. To make matters worse, the blood loss was starting to show the effects. His skin turned pale and his pain level skyrocketed the more they touched the injury, a single strike that ended it all.

"W-what do we do?" Yuuki choked out. Despite her occupation being that of Valkyrie, she had never encountered such a devastating injury to a person and still live. Just the shock should have killed them, but Issei was still breathing, at least for a small while. It wouldn't be long until his body gives out on him.

"To think the brat that upset the balance of power just died from a single attack like that. I can see why humans are often compared to glass. No resilience against foes that put the slightest pressure against their bodies before they die like flies. It almost makes me ashamed of being scratched by an insect." His tone spoke spoke volumes of his power, and the girls couldn't deny it. If War exerted even a spec of his power, they would be dead within seconds. They thought they had a chance with Issei by their side, but right now, he was incapacitated, almost to the point of death.

Nevertheless, they stood their ground. It was one thing to die, but it was a whole different story if they abandoned him at his weakest. No, they will protect him with their all, even if their life was the price to let him survive.

"Luna," Yuuki turned to the young girl, who timidly walked over, "I want you and your… err friend to take Issei and run. Get him to Satan as fast as you can. We'll handle them here."

"B-but you won't-" Yuuki's finger silenced the stuttering girl.

"Don't worry, we'll be fine. Just hurry, I'll cover you and Issei." The soothing tone betrayed the fear in her eyes, but she couldn't afford to show it to Luna, lest she hesitate and risk both her and Issei.

"R-right!"

She turned back to the two who stood beside her and faced War and his entourage with tranquil fury. The mere thought of this, this monster manipulating her friends had almost sent her in an erratic rage. They were her friends, her sisters-in-arms, and the Horseman dared to pit them against each other. It made her heart race with adrenaline to tear and shred the man responsible for this vile action. No, it wasn't time to succumb to emotion, not yet at least.

They needed Issei up and ready to beat War again, but with that half amputated arm, he wasn't going to be doing much unless Satan's healers could get to him fast enough. They needed Luna and her familiar to get Issei out of harm's way, and they were the only ones capable of at least staving off War and their possessed friends.

"Lily, Rena." She spoke softly, her speech cold as ice, void of emotion and passion. A necessary tactic in order to cover the escape, it was fairly obvious to War when he saw the girl's eyes glazed over. The eyes of someone who's lost something significant. A hole that is satisfied with revenge and retribution.

Whatever it was, she was already planning to throw her life away. Her two friends had the same look, eyes ready to throw their life through blood and fire.

He would entertain himself with the peons of this world, but he had a mission. It wasn't like him to hesitate in killing his target, perhaps he had gotten bored with how mundane and predictable it was to find and eliminate. No, he was a warrior and through honorable battle was his way of eliminating threats.

The three ladies under his control moved with practiced synchronization in front of him. Their weapons drawn to protect their master. Good, it was expected for these expendable women to lay their lives in service of their master.

"Take care of them." He spoke. "Kill yourselves if you have to, but make sure they don't become a nuisance to my side." War had no regard of their lives. They were glass and he was the hammer. They will break eventually, like all mortals. Better to use them to the fullest than waste.

He jumped towards Luna, sword drawn to cleave the injured boy behind her in half. Again, he was stopped from completing the task, this time by a barrier between him and the girls.

"War, don't think you can get away with killing Issei while we're here." Rena growled as a bolt of lightning escaped there tips of her fingers, smashing against the attacker. "To get him, you'll need to go through us."

He smirked. Without warning, the six girls had already clashed in front of him. Sisters crossed blades in a fight to the death. Expendable they may be, he had programmed them to kill with their full power, unhindered by morality and emotion. This was in his advantage.

"Lily!" Yuuki screamed to the girl. "Now!"

She nodded, pushing back Natsumi. She raised her sword above her head and let out a flash of light. Those affected reeled back, their eyes seeing only white. Even War wasn't immune to such things, but he was certainly less susceptible. What normally would have blinded normal people for a good thirty seconds was only ten for him, but even one second was precious in battle. Moments after the flash, he felt a jolt to his right shoulder before it was followed by a pressure, slowly tightening from within. His arm was paralyzed.

He gave a brief growl, blinking his eyes a few times to see the blade of an attacker coming for his head. War dropped his sword, opting with his fist to counter the blade. He seized the offending weapon and pulled it close towards his chest, the attacker in tow before a headbutt sent her flying back next to her comrades.

His own group was starting to recover from the blindness, but they weren't exactly steady enough to fight. Useless despite his assistance.

"Never send mortals to do a Horseman's job." He muttered. Picking up his sword, he sprung forward, a wide cleave already in motion.

Yuuki roared in response, twin yellow gauntlets materializing to their master's command. Crackling with the power and force of a lightning bolt, she crashed her fists against the sword. Sparks exploded and the sword was stopped by a mere mortal. Pure rage took over her body. She pushed the sword back and retaliated with her own strike; the punch collided with his breastplate and the unmistakeable sound of a crack boomed from the impact.

War was thrown off his feet, a smoldering crater crackling with the remnants of a lightning strike on his stone chest. Yuuki, however, was relentless. Like a storm, she was on him within seconds, pounding away on his face with energy enhanced fists. Each blow a destructive force of nature and each impact a resounding crack of bone. It wasn't until the mind controlled girls, more specifically Natsumi, smashed her off their master.

She was dragged against the stone as her assailant continued their path, sending the two off the castle and into freefall, punching and kicking towards the ground.

"Keep them occupied. I don't want to clean up your messes anymore than I have to." The Horseman spat at the girls. "You're here for a reason."

"My apologies master, we will not fail you again." Nanami bowed lightly.

"See that you don't. I have more important business to attend–" The two ladies that were silent throughout Yuuki's assault moved in unison, their weapons singing for blood. Rena's thrust at War's chest was pinpoint, the lance piercing through the crack and drawing blood.

To War, it was merely a prick, but it has been unheard of a human to injure him before. A first for everything, but the lance didn't stop. She ran him through or attempted to. Muscle and bone fought back against the foreign object, their supernatural resistance stopping it from advancing further.

A measly three inches made it into his chest. An injury not even worth noting, but it was commendable for them to injure him better than the dragon brat.

Nevertheless, he grabbed the lance and took it out with casual ease and looked over to his remaining girls. Nanami and Mary fought against Lily, the senior easily handling the two in close combat. It was still a two vs one, but Lily was an adept fighter in disadvantageous situations. Many times have her opponents forgo the meaning of honorable battle, so her fighting style adapted accordingly. Her single target strategy changed to disrupt and defeat multiple hostiles.

She twirled her staff, beckoning her opponents. They obliged, attacking in unison. High and low.

'Strong, yes. Skill and technique, well, mediocre.' She chuckled. They were still her juniors after all.

Both strikes were blocked by planting the staff vertically. She launched herself between the two girls, sending both feet down on Mary's back. The feeling of bone break was familiar to the girl, though it wasn't that powerful of an attack, meant only to incapacitate. Her arm lashed out and grabbed Nanami's collar. The girl gave a grunt before smashing her head against the stone floor, effectively knocking her out.

Lily smirked at the Horseman. Her eyes filled with vigor and confidence.

"While my distaste for such violence against my own juniors is to be noted, I believe your choice in minions are rather poor War, even for a horseman. I may not have centuries of experience in battle, but I'm quite confident in my skills in choosing my companions."

"These are your friends. You have no qualms with attacking them?" War asked. Quite a curious case from someone who talks about handing their friends back to strike them down.

"They're tenacious if anything. They won't die from it, but they're knocked out for a good while."

He grunted in response before turning back to his opponent. Rena moved with the clap of thunder, instantly closing the distance. Her lance struck his sword.

"Don't think you can win in a test of strength girl."

"I'm not." She retreated, her eyes reflecting the shine of lightning.

"Wha-" He followed his reflexes and blocked the attack from behind. A sharp pain went through his other arm, the nerves stopped and dormant. His arms were useless now.

"Seems like the tables have turned, hasn't it War?" Yuuki said, tossing the unconscious Natsumi down.

"Defeating your friends doesn't mean you've won against me. In fact, I believe I have the advantage."

"Wha-" Within seconds he was on them instantly. Powerful kicks cracked air and bone as the gauntlet wearing girl foolishly blocked the Horseman's attack. She was sent flying just as her friends retaliated.

Rena took the role of vanguard and faced War head on. Her lance stretched farther than his legs, giving her ample room to attack. A wide sweep came at her flank. Too easy. She blocked it with the shield, giving an opening to her friends.

Lily wasted no time. A tap on the ground ejected silver serrated blades from both ends of her staff. Springing forward, she vaulted over Rena and sent an overhead strike at the Horseman.

It struck his head, but did not penetrate the cowl that hides his face. She retracted the weapon and followed up with wide sweep to his left carotid, hoping for a quick decapitation.

Only it never reached it.

War's arm caught the offending blade. Surprising as the paralytic shock should have kept his arms useless for another five minutes.

"My turn." A growl of agitation and annoyance. Like a fly bothering a human, he wasn't amused by anything they threw at him.

He pulled Lily in for another headbutt. Much harder than the last, both felt the crack of bone and its walls cave in as she was hurled back.

"Lily!" Rena turned to see her friend unconscious and bleeding from the nose and eyes.

"I would pay attention to my opponent rather than her." She brought her shield up just as an ungodly pressure struck down on her. The floor cracked as she tried to resist him. The pressure grew in strength and she went down to her knees. More cracks, then it broke. The floor buckled from under her, but she did not fall. War's grip on her neck kept her afloat. He discarded her shield and stared with those glowing white eyes.

"A foolish endeavor." He said. "And a fatal one."

He tightened his grip until she lost consciousness. A magical reinforcement on her body was applied, making her body several times heavier before he let her drop.

The girl crashed through multiple floors of the castle. He didn't even hear the sound of the thud.

"One more."

The lightning girl growled in response, her arms crackling with energy. "This one isn't easy to kill."

"We'll see about that."

Faster than the blink of an eye, the pair danced a tango of death. Blow for blow, Yuuki matched War. A faster target and an expert in battling larger foes, she struck hard and fast like a bolt of lightning. Each strike to his chestplate slowly cracked the surface, but the damage went beyond. Lightning struck at the muscle underneath, zapping the nerves, and forcing them to contract. Arms, legs, chest, they all were attacked by the energy.

War, however, wasn't going to fall for the same trick twice. His own magical strength flowed into his affected muscles and reinvigorated them. His attacks ramped up after, blocking the hits while shrugging off the lightning that entered. It was through pure strength and speed they were attacking now.

He swung down. A planned feint, but the girl didn't fall for it. She entered closer to escape the zone his blade covered and struck his arm by the elbow. Power coursed through the fist and snapped the joint. She was far from done. Spinning by her heel, she struck the opposite shoulder. Lightning coursed through the palm strike, shredding the outer layer of armor and skin. Grabbing the affected shoulder, she vaulted over and struck the lower spine and legs.

War fell to a knee, his body trying to calm itself from the erratic spasms. His status as a Horseman had made him overconfident in his abilities and underestimated his opponent's. Now he paid it with the injuries that he never thought a mortal could inflict. He smiled despite the situation. It would be rude to hold back his full capability to someone who was.

Yuuki pressed her hands together. Lightning flowed and cackled in response. The young girl forced her energy through her palms, overloading herself in power. Streaks of energy bounced off her palms, surrounding her in the signature blue hue of lightning. Eyes glowed with power, the skin surrounding in a burnt blue. Her hands slowly gained the webbed cracks of lightning, flowing through the bloodstream.

"Time to get serious." She said, flowing into a fighting stance.

"I concur." The power of the Horseman exploded in response to her own. The hellish red permeated around him. It was almost like a living thing, its movement erratic and wild. The owner of the aura turned. No longer were there the eyes of cold white, but the fury of red.

Neither charged however. They stared, assessing their opponents. Which plan of attack was best? What sort of abilities do they have? These thoughts raced through both minds before a conclusion was made.

'Kill.'

In speeds unfathomable to the naked eye, fist and blade exploded in a destructive dance.

-Break-

Luna dragged the broken body of Issei down the final lap of stairs, muttering 'Sorry' each time he groaned in pain. Her small familiar had cauterized the wound with its acidic properties, stopping the blood loss, but he was still unable to move. She felt useless, but even so, she had a task to complete. no time for self pity.

They reached the ground floor. None of War's guards were around, surprisingly enough. To think that they would leave such a post unguarded was beyond anyone's mind, but Luna was inexperienced in battle tactics and know how. She foolishly moved without checking the surroundings, knocking down a piece of wood onto the floor.

She gave a small yelp and looked around for the source of noise, oblivious to the approaching footsteps. She turned the corner towards the door and bumped to one the Horseman's controlled guards. He stared a few seconds at the snow haired girl before raising his sword to strike her down. A practiced action without thought, he swung.

The familiar would have none of it however. The slug creature leapt at the man's face and burrowed through his eye, acid spewing from every pore in its grayish body. He screamed, dropping the sword and began to claw at his face. It continued its assault, reaching the base of the skull and poured down its excruciating poison into the brain, liquifying the organ slowly. His screams grew louder as his skull dissolved into paste. He went silent afterwards, his body teetering on its feet and finally falling dead.

Luna was surprised. Not by the death of the man, but how easy she came to accept it. A girl of her age would have been screaming in shock, unable to fathom of taking a life, yet she looked on. Perhaps it may be because of the Black Rain that touched those around her that she had become desensitized to death. She had accepted it after Issei had taken her with him. Perhaps she had snapped. Seeing death was a traumatic event that could cause insanity, rendering her unable to feel anything. No, that wasn't true. The sight of Issei nearly dying had nearly caused her to empty the contents of her stomach from the wound, yet this nameless man didn't incite such a reaction.

She moved her hand near the first wound and the sluggish form of her familiar crawled out, covered in the blood and skull paste of the man. It shook the material off cutely before going back inside. There, Luna stood quietly, waiting for her familiar to pop back out so that she may continue in her mission.

A few minutes of waiting, she grabbed Issei's uninjured side and slung it over her small shoulder. The door was within reach and her familiar could crawl itself to safety without her help. A push of the door and it opened to the raging storm. Winds howled and the skies were ripped with streaks of lightning. Rain poured relentlessly against her, obstructing her sight on the surrounding area. The good news, the red hue of fire in the distance was her only sign of Satan. The first step outside, there was a crash behind her. She quickly turned to find the unconscious body of Rena within the small crater of wood and stone. Gently, she let Issei down to approach the woman.

'Rena...' She inwardly flinched. The bruise around her neck was enough of an indication of what had happened. She looked up and saw several stories destroyed by her fall. 'She couldn't have been that heavy, right?'

She was getting distraught. Rena and Issei were down for the count, leaving Lily and Yuuki to fend off War and his minions. How would she be able to carry the two of them safely to Satan?

The answer approached behind her, the small slug of her familiar chirping on her shoulder as she turned to a mass of liquid. Several times larger than her familiar, it took the shape resembling a man. Featureless aside from a few splotches of red where the eyes are supposed to be, its sluggish lower body offset the enlarged humanoid torso.

"Did you..?" She asked the small slug. It chirped in delight.

The larger familiar wrapped its arms around Rena and lifted her with some difficulty. She was heavy, but it did not complain. Looking to its master, it offered to carry Issei as well, a gesture welcomed by Luna.

The familiar slowly clambered its way outside, Luna on its shoulders as they trekked towards the armies.

-Break-

The power of storms can only go so far in resisting the destructive nature of war. An everlasting concept of conflict and disruption outlast the burst of chaos every time.

Yuuki understood this order as her face was dragged across the stone. War powered himself through battle as she does through storms. With both of their respective catalyst of power in place, even she was amazed at matching the Horseman's strength, whether she gained it through desperation or for the sake of protecting, she didn't know, but it helped her survive.

The young Valkyrie took hold of her attacker's arm, planting the once flailing legs into the stone. She skidded as War continued to drag her like a broken doll, but the resistance caught her. She stopped, causing the Horseman to jerk back in surprise. Giving a quick grunt of content, Yuuki heaved her larger opponent over her head in a practiced judo flip.

The Horseman slammed down onto the floor, threatening to destroy it with his sheer size and weight. The young girl mounted him and began to repeatedly smash electrified fists into his face and chest. Tendrils of lightning touched his nerves. They screamed in response from the foreign sensation, overloading his senses with hot flashes of pain.

Yuuki growled and pulled War in close to her face. Lightning emanated from her eyes, glowing a bright blue that burnt the skin around it in a charred black. Rage was literally burning her eyes, but she didn't care. All the pain in the world could be on her shoulders and the rage War had created within her would quell that pain. She was becoming a monster aValkyrie should never strive for. She had began to lose her humanity for the power of an elemental.

Lightning fused into her fist, blood vessels boiling as webbed scars scaled up her arm. Beyond the normal limits of what a lightning user should display, she broke each limit with reckless abandon. The skin on her forearms were vaporized to suit the energy within, the tendrils spreading up her elbows, giving the appearance of the limb being attached rather than being natural. Her fingers thinned and sharpened into claws, the heat of lightning liquifying the metal gauntlets.

Energy from her eyes had the same effect as her limbs, albeit not as controlled. Patches of skin were dissolved, replaced with the same blue hue of energy.

She looked at War, never contorting in pain during the whole thing. Lightning singed his clothes and the stray bolts cracked his armor deeper than it should. An elemental in the making.

"Payback." She said, slamming her head against his. The resilient Horseman could feel the skulls of both his and Yuuki's crack and cave. That would have been her end when pitting a normal skull to that of War's.

She had just begun her assault.

The lithe half elemental rolled back to his legs and slammed him down on the floor like a club. Again and again, it was the Horseman's turn to be a ragdoll. Mid swing, she threw him up and caught him by the legs and slammed him down. Dropping from the air, she planted both feet on top of his skull, bone giving way to the force.

Her hand took his head and threw him up again. Energy crackled from her arms as she sent a stream of blue lightning at the Horseman, keeping him afloat.

However, War wasn't taking this lying down. The red aura of conflict grew twice in size. The stream was repelled and the Horseman launched himself and smashed his shoulder into her chest. The energized girl was propelled back, several ribs broken in the process, but landed perfectly back on her feet.

A scowl formed on his darkened face as they sprung on each other again, catching the other's fist in a test of dominance. One pushed the other, yet neither gave in. Both gave a burst of strength, an explosive display by the crater both now inhabited. Another burst and the crater grew wider and deeper.

The combatants, finding no conclusion between their clash, pushed off. The storm rose in intensity, reaching the crescendo in its symphonic chaos. They roared, renewed vigor coursing through their veins, and charged.

War struck Yuuki's jaw, dislocating it. She reeled back, her jaw hanging uselessly. Her hair was caught by the Horseman and pulled back to his fist. The stone gauntlet collided with her face. Fragile bone caved into her skull and small masses of ichor and brain matter threatened to spill from the cracks. She fell back, half conscious before she felt herself being dragged and the pressure of a metal boot crushing her already shattered ribs.

The screams were silent as the Horseman took hold of the battered mortal. She fought better than the dragon brat and held against him quite well. Unfortunately, she was another obstacle. If it weren't for it, he would consider teaching her a Horseman's ways.

He cut his musings short and released the girl, dropping to a crouch as the crackle of lightning swung over his head. A sweeping kick was his retaliation, hitting nothing. Another strike, this time, it hit the back of his skull, the familiar sensation of electricity jolting his nerves as he rolled forward, his sword already moving to block the follow up swing.

A strong stab ripped apart his right pauldron, stone cracking under the pressure. The attack had considerably more speed than he had anticipated. These mortals had already had him impressed, but to do an attack even he couldn't see at this state was interesting to know.

He felt a slight jolt brush past his shoulder. War immediately lashed his arm out, grabbing his attacker, and throwing them back.

What he saw was a heavily elementalized Lily. Streaks of yellow lightning branched from the hand to her shoulders. Veins by the eyes spilled energy and vaporized blood, while strips of her face had become the bright energy. Her torso lacked clothing, except the white cloth that wrapped around her breasts, revealing the webs of lightning that coursed within.

"Up for round two War? That first one was unfair." She asked the Horseman, mirth and sarcasm dripping.

"Gladly." He rolled his shoulders and brandished the blade.

"You still good to go there Yuuki? It's been awhile since I've fought together with my cute junior."

Yuuki popped her jaw back in place. "Let's go."

Twin lightning bolts struck gauntlet and blade simultaneously as the Horseman rushed in response. They moved in sync, complimenting their attacks. Yuuki kept a string of attacks at the Horseman's torso, his gauntlet keeping the more lethal attacks at bay while those that cracked the armor were ignored. Lily, meanwhile, kept pressure with piercing attacks that systematically followed the volley her junior provided, a near perfect in combination.

However, their opponent was already capable of following their attacks and counter. War had the skill and capability to battle the most skilled angel or the most savage devil. Two half elementals were enough of a challenge, especially angry ones.

He parried the stab and took hold of the energized fist. Yuuki was smashed into Lily, sending both girls high in the air. He leapt after, beating the two at the apex of their rise and sent down a crushing swing to return them to the earth.

Fortunately, their energized bodies had considerably less weight with the loss of matter in their transformation, but that didn't change the fact that they hit the stone roof hard. They rolled off one another and stared at the boots of their killer.

War plummeted after, feet first onto their chests. An instantaneous pressure crushed them. Their luminescent energy dimmed to a dull glow. Their eyes glazed over as the Horseman looked over them. A quick defeat.

"That was... Underwhelming." He commented, his eyes examining the two unconscious girls. Honestly, he expected more of an increase in power against the elementalized humans. The process was said to be excruciatingly painful, sacrificing their body and soul, in exchange for power beyond their mortal shell. Unfortunately, he couldn't make use of their abilities. They were broken already, something he couldn't use aside from shields.

The Horseman stepped down from the girls and glanced towards the war in the distance. He would find Hyoudou Issei there. And he will end it himself, not any pawns.

He started towards the battle yet he never got the first step off as much as he was blown off the castle. Something followed down, faster than anything he's seen today and pulled him down faster into the ground.

He recovered, throwing the latched being off of him and swung at the second. The blade went through, yet it did not stop. The attack struck him, sending him through the castle wall. He rolled, weapon ready and charged.

Whatever he was fighting now weren't the same girls he fought earlier. The attacks were merely high speed strikes, with little evidence of thought or skill. It was proven true when another attack smashed against the blade instead of the obvious opening at his left flank. He pushed it back and retreated.

The girls had completely succumbed to the element, completely enveloping their bodies into lightning and their primal urge to kill. They were animals of instinct now.

They circled him, as a predator would on prey. They did not realize that he was the predator. Blue lightning sprung on him. He grabbed the offending limb and smashed the creature into the ground. The other came right after, claws outstretched to rip his face wide open. He rectified the attempt by slamming its sister into its belly. The creatures yelped as they were sent flying back.

"Animals" He growled, "I expected more from a lightning elemental, but it seems you two are just fodder."

He sprang at them, as they did on him. His sword glowed a dull red and smashed into blue. Likewise, his stone gauntlet intercepted a claw from its sister. The former was batted away from the sword while the latter had been thrown into the ground. His boot rose and fell into the creature's spine twice, before it returned to a dull yellow glow.

Sensing its sister's decreased energy, the elementalized Yuuki howled and charged at the Horseman. Another simple and predictable attack.

He simply batted it away with his arm, a force he forgot to hold back on, and crushed the second elemental with his sword. The glow faded and only the drumming of the rain was audible, then the clicking of boots.

I'm a bad person, just gonna get that out of the way. I don't update, I never reply back, I don't bring home dinner when asked to. Yes, please throw me now into the pit of flames. Before that happens, let me just put out a quick announcement.

I'm getting back in the swing of things at the moment, so don't expect frequent updates. I'm inconsistent with everything, especially writing. This little fanfic that could definitely grew back from the pits of my hard drive. It gave me a long look before I finally said, "Fine, I'll write the dang thing." This was a hassle to write and put into the documents, considering this chapter was mostly to kill time when I had nothing to do. So in about a span of 6 months, writing about a paragraph or two each day, this chapter came out. Yes, Issei got rofl-stomped so fast, even I got whiplash, but it's mainly because I felt like focusing on the girls and that they aren't complete fan service for the hot blooded males. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I just wanted to show that they are formidable people, just like Issei's old peer group, which we will be seeing sometime in the future. I don't know when, but it'll happen.

Right *helmet on* Throw me in boys!

P.S: Proof reading has not been done, so if you saw any mistakes in grammar or spelling, my bad.
