I'M SO SORRY MAI DEAR PEOPLE! So please bear with me and don't judge the chapter, inspiration is a cruel mistress who doesn't come when you want her to come.
Haruhi's POV:
All I can think about is when would be the right time to strike against Renge since even if just Christian and I tried to attack, we'd pretty much be killed by her so that's why I guess that Christian did a deal with the host club but haven't they thought about me? Well, Chris says that he's doing all this because of my condition that's rather delicate since I have been through a lot of crap these few days as an angel. Well, there's nothing I can do except wait.
"Haruhi, are you okay?" Sophia asked as she entered the room to talk with me. "I like your outfit."
I looked down at myself and I remembered that I was wearing a light pink T-shirt with a pair of white shorts with a pair of light brown ballet flats. My hair was tied into a messy bun that many hairs were already slipping out of it.
"Hey Sophia. I'm fine just a bit tired." I said as I grabbed a glass of water.
"Angels don't get tired. Only if they were fighting a demon or thinking too much and I'm pretty sure that you haven't left this apartment to go assault some demons. What were you thinking about?" Sophia asked.
"Nothing." I answered while sitting on the breakfast counter.
"Okay. I have to go to Russia right now with Maria so you and Christian are going to be okay here alone?" Sophia asked me.
"Yes, I promise that we're going to be fine. We won't get into any trouble or fights." I said and Sophia giggled.
"What happened?" I questioned Sophia whom stopped giggling and stared at me like if she was very serious.
"You do know that angels can have relationships, right?" Sophia asked.
"What?" I asked. Is she trying to insinuate what I'm thinking?
"I'm trying to say that you and Christian can be together for as long as you want. Of course, until you guys get killed by a demon." Sophia said as she grabbed my hands.
"You mean that Christian and I could be dating and there would be nothing wrong with it?" I asked.
"Of course. There would be nothing wrong with it for God and the Archangels. Only if one of you is a traitor." Sophia said.
"Well, you have to go and I need to get ready for school so bye~" I said as I walked towards my room in an attempt to not keep talking about that.
"Bye." Sophia said and she left the house.
"Hey! Where's Sophia?" Christian asked as he walked into the house.
"She went to Russia." I mumbled while grabbing my English book.
"She did always say that she wanted to go there to visit." Christian stated.
"I think that it's work-related." I informed Christian.
"Too bad for her. So how are you doing?" Christian asked.
"I'm fine. Just a little bit tired but I'm going to go make some dinner." I said while going to the kitchen.
"I don't think that you can." Christian said while placing his head on top of my shoulder.
"Why not?" I asked him.
"Because Maria just texted me saying that there's a demon spotting downtown and that she wants us to kill it." Christian said.
"Thank you for that valuable information. Let me get changed and we'll be on our way." I said while getting out of Christian's grip and walking towards my room.
"But... You look... Good... This way." I heard Christian said and I turned to see him and I saw him blushing like if he was a red scarf.
"As much that I want to go outside in these clothes, it's too cold to go outside with these clothes." I said gently to Christian.
"You're right. I'll wait for you in the living room, Kay?" Chris asked me.
"Kay!" I answered back to him. I entered my room and I walked towards my closet and I grabbed a white v-neck sweater with a pair of black skinny jeans and a pair of black winter boots that had a small heel. I let my long blonde hair go loose so I could look a little presentable. I look kind of nice for a blonde maybe when I was alive, I could've looked better.
I walked out of my room and I saw that Christian was sitting down watching some crime show on the TV so I snuck behind him and covered his eyes.
"I'm blind!" Chris said.
"No, you're not. Let's go." I said as I walked towards the front door while grabbing my brown jacket.
"Sure." Christian said as he grabbed his black coat and put on his favorite red scarf. I as always, cannot see why the scarf is so special to him and he told me that it reminded him of one that he used to have when he was still alive by his late mother.
We both walked outside of Christian's apartment building and we were both struck by the freezing cold December air and we started walking. It would take us like around 10 minutes to get to the downtown district and a few minutes to sense the demon that was there.
"It's so nice to breathe some fresh air." I said softly to myself and I felt something going against my arm and I saw Christian debating himself between grabbing my hand or not so I had stopped walking and I stared at his face but it didn't seem like he noticed me. So I held his hand in my hand.
"W-w-what are you doing?" Christian asked me and I smiled at him.
"I'm holding your hand so nobody can raise suspicions with us." I said and we kept walking straightforward and we had gotten to the downtown without any trouble and now we were both waiting for some kind of hint that would give the demon away.
"Do you sense anything, Chris?" I asked.
"No, not yet." I said softly and then a chill crawled down my spine which caused me to grasp Christian's hand tightly.
"You just felt it, didn't you?" Chris asked me and I nodded and we walked towards an alley and the chills were more frequent as we kept walking forward and we saw 3 demons chattering like little school girls as Christian and I looked at each other in the eye. We both walked back towards the alley.
"I'm going to go up to the roof and see if I can shoot one of them from up there." Christian said and I nodded to proceed walking forward again towards the demons.
"Where are you going?" Christian asked.
"I'm going to go distract them for you. So here." I said to Chris while giving him my gun.
"You're crazy." Chris said.
"I'll be fine." I said softly while patting his arm and I walked forward and I passed by the demons.
"Hey blondie. Wanna come with me?" One of the demons said.
"No, thanks. I have to go home." I said as I winked at them and the predatory look in their eyes got so intense that made me want to just stand there in fear but I kept walking forward but then suddenly a hand grabbed my wrist tightly as an arm grabbed my waist and a hand went on my mouth.
"Then we'd better take our time now." One of the demons whispered in my ear and he bit my ear.
"Now, shall we?" Another one said and I felt how the arm that was around my waist was lifting it's hand under my shirt and I looked up to the sky in an attempt to see Chris and I spotted him on the top of a roof with a sniper gun -which I wonder, where the hell did he get it from- and he seemed hesitant.
"What the hell are you waiting for?!" I questioned Christian whom seemed taken aback by my sudden telepathy attack.
"I don't know. I need a much cleaner shot." Christian replied as he took his aim again.
"Take it! You know that our weapons don't hurt me." I responded back to him.
"Ah, guys I think that this is a virgin." One of the demons said that made me come back to my senses.
"No, no." I mumbled through the demon's mouth.
"Shhh. It'll feel nice, almost like if you're going to die." Another one said as I felt its hands going to my pants and I closed my eyes and hoped for Christian to kill them and I heard a shot and I loosened myself away and I ran towards the alley again.
"Bastard angel! I'll show you not to bother me while I'm having fun and to not kill my teammate." One of the demons said and Christian threw me my gun.
"Thanks. But you were a tad too late." I said to Christian.
"I was waiting for the best shot and as you can see, I shot it in the head." Christian replied.
"Yeah right." I said to him as I aimed my gun at the demons.
"Huh, who would guess? The little cute girl was an angel helping her partner with distracting us." One of the demons said.
"How about after we kill her partner, we keep her as a pet?" The other one said.
"Thanks but no thanks." I said and I shot one of them in the arm and Christian shot the other one in the chest and I took the opportunity to shoot him in the head.
"Are you okay?" Christian asked.
"I'm fine. Now let's go home." I said but Christian grabbed my arm and the next thing I knew, his lips were on top of my lips and we were making out but then he separated himself from me.
"Let's go." Christian said as we walked together back home but I noticed that he was blushing like a tomato.
