AN: Hello world! This piece is drabble, fluffy drabble. But I like it enough to post it, so here it is.

STARS

Prim always thought Katniss was like the sun. Burning brightly, with the whole world revolving around her. She shone, but she didn't know it. She was fire. She simply was.

And Gale, Gale was the moon. Reflecting Katniss's light, but she didn't know it. She thought he had light of his own. And perhaps he did, but it wasn't the same type of light Katniss had. It was darker.

And the moon thinks it can eclipse the sun, block it out completely. Not that he tries to. But it happens, and because he is closer to the grit and grime now, he can block out the sun's light. But only for a time, and not completely, because the sun is so much bigger and brighter. And while perhaps all the people on earth miss the sun, she still shines brightly, and laughs at the moon's temporary success.

And Peeta was a star. He shone brightly too, but in a different place than Katniss. He shone brightly, he twinkled merrily like laughter. He sparkled and glittered, and captured the fancy of everyone.

And there was time when the moon and star fought for the sun. There was time when the sun wasn't sure. There were times when she thought the moon would be easier, and others when she knew the stars would be better. The moon was closer. She'd known the moon her whole life. She'd seen him in all his forms, both full and crescent.

But the star shone. It gave hope. Laughter. Beauty. It was farther away, but it was more willing to wait. It was more willing to beg, to love, to hold. The moon was colder than the star. The moon was harder than the star. The moon had nothing on the star.

And in the end, the sun found she was a star too. And the sun-turned-star knew that she needed the star. She needed the one who would twinkle merrily, shine brightly, burn happily.

And so the stars, both the sun and the other star, they burned together brightly.

Because the sun did not need someone who would eclipse her. She needed someone to shine with.

Oh, at the beginning, it mentions that this is all sort of what Prim thinks of the whole Gale vs. Peeta thing. I thought it would be interesting to do an outsiders view on the whole shebang, and so this was it.

Thanks for reading everyone, and if you liked it, I'd really appreciate it if you took the time to review!
