Prompt: Two-Face finds himself deprived of his coin, and stuck in a room with a d20.

"I promise, you'll like it," Barbara had said. So Dick sat down with her to craft his character, a lawful good human paladin that she pronounced dull as dirt. They were just starting their adventure when the Batsignal lit up the sky.

Knowing Batman was busy information-gathering as Matches Malone, Robin and Batgirl suited up and raced to police headquarters.

In the rush, a twenty-sided die ended up in Robin's utility belt.

After a chat with Commissioner Gordon, they spent twenty minutes tracking down Two-Face, who was planning on doing in Rupert Thorne in the privacy of Gotham Harbor.

It was a simple operation. They made short work of the goons, then Batgirl took charge of Thorne while Robin pursued Two-Face onto the nearest fishing boat.

The boat was underway before the criminal realized he wasn't alone. Robin took a gas pellet from his belt, but before he had time to strike, Two-Face turned around and clobbered him with a tackle box.

Robin dropped like a stone. He was too dazed to do more than watch as Two-Face pulled a .22 from inside his jacket.

But he did manage to ask, "Aren't you going to flip for it?"

Two-Face didn't bother to answer. The next second, his ever-present coin was arcing through the air.

While he was distracted, Robin flung what was in his hand.

It wasn't a gas pellet.

But it didn't matter. Through sheer luck, he struck the coin right out of the air and sent it spinning away into the dark water. Two-Face's fist closed around Barbara's d20.

He looked as surprised as Robin felt.

"Is this…Do you…What did you think was going to happen if you threw this at me?"

"Um…"

"I'm not Twenty-Face! I don't even need to flip for it, now both sides want to shoot you."

Crap. And now there was nothing more effective he could do. He'd get a bullet between the eyes before he could twitch.

"Okay, okay," Two-Face muttered to himself. "Even, the lady Bat finds him later, trussed up in the boat with a bump on the head. Odd, I shoot him and dump the body."

He opened his fist and smirked.

"Want my advice, kid? Kill yourself and reroll."
