(I do not own Ghost Rider. It's as simple as that.)
Vengeance Eternal
Hey there
I'm looking for some info on what people call the "Ghost Rider"
They say he's there one moment, then gone in a flash
There'd be guys around him, but they're piles of ash
He's not a normal human, he's much worse
For the poor man behind the bone and flames
Is under the curse
Made a deal with the devil, I would say
Now combusting the guilty is his price to pay
They say his transformation isn't much better
They say when it happens, you couldn't be deader
Whenever he's around a dark soul
All of your crimes will take their toll
First thing to transform is his skin
It burns like a deadly sin
Then comes his skull, which fills with fire
His emotions become rage, need, desire
Rage for the ones who don't even care
So he'll kill them off with the penance stare
Sickeningly laughing from their cries of despair
Need for that sense of vengeance he craves
All of those crime doers are digging their graves
Desire to finish off the devil
For it's not until his defeat in which he'll revel
All of this power comes with one flaw
There must be insanity, by which he foresaw
Yes, the Ghost Rider must go insane
But then again, you don't know his pain
For he used to be an angel, sent from above
There to spread closure, justice, and love
Then one day, he was horribly tricked
Put in bondage and chains that constrict
Those beautiful wings were trampled, snapped, and torn
Against all evil, vengeance was sworn
For when he was in chains, they corrupted his mind
Those thoughts became dark, twisted, unrefined
The people that lie
The killers, so wry
Soon they'll all die
They'll stare into his eyes
He'll block out the cries and
Search their soul
No one would want it, it's dark as coal
Soon that's all they see
From the inside out, they're scorched and burned
After all, mistakes they made weren't lessons learned
But that was then, this is now
To lead a pure life should be your vow
In fact, I think I saw him yesterday
He gave ten gangsters hell to pay
After he did, he had some fun
He hopped on his bike and was back on the run
That's all I know, but I need to learn more
For I know him better than myself, and
The fire inside's an eternal war
You might want to know my name before you choose what to do
I'm Johnny Blaze
Nice to meet you
