Title: Beware the Water

Summary: EO Drabble Challenge: Water: Double drabble, just cause I felt like it. A witch curses Dean and Sam is having trouble focusing with Lucifer continuing to hang around. Spoilers for the more recent episodes of Season 7. Title comes from Deftones' 'Beware'.

A/N: I love this word for some reason and it's given me tons of ideas, but I'll just stick with my two initial ones. Hope you enjoy this second one.

A shattering of glass and once cool but now burning liquid drips down his legs. His arm is oozing thick, hot blood. Sam's exhausted yet concerned hazel eyes are instantly on him.

Thick droplets sting his face. His throat is parched, head throbbing, suddenly too heavy to hold up.

A flicker of movement and he's on the wood flooring. Sam's holding him up with strong, confident arms.

Dean knows Lucifer is a little more than an arm's reach away, can feel his hateful presence, sense his brother's distraction.

He wants to comfort him but this is the absolute worst situation.

Lucifer's hovering by the window, his seething with feigned pity voice piercing Sam's ears. His visitor is making it impossible to focus on Dean's current condition.

"I told you the witch took a liking to your brother."

"Shut up!" He screams because he can't take this.

Dean's on the floor writhing in pain, the water seeming to rise up and choke him, blood constantly flowing and it's all because he didn't listen to the wretched figure that never shuts up.

"Save him", he begs, though he knows he's Dean's only hope now.

Lucifer, remaining in the background as always, laughs.
