Whoa... What a surprise to see this fic updated, isn't it...?

So yeah, faithful readers of "A Forgotten Seals", I apologize for this...veeeeeeeery long absence of mine. See, college and life has been taking tool on me. I...to be honest, I almost forgot how to write scenes at fanfics, lol. It's been...too long since I write fanfics. But eh, I will try to get used to it again, no worries. ^^

To be honest, I was suprised that despite the lack of updates, favs and follows and even reviews pop out here and there for this fic. So thank you for your continuous support, everyone. I promise that as long as I live and able to write, I'll try to finish my fanfics. :')

Once again, I apologize for the wait! X_x ..It'll be harder to post Chapters from now on, but I'll try my best! :'D

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the new Chapter of "A Forgotten Seals". Happy reading~! ^_^-

DISCLAIMER : I DON'T OWN EITHER BEYBLADE OR METAL FIGHT BEYBLADE SERIES. HOWEVER, I OWN THE PLOT OF THIS FIC... ^^-

A Forgotten Seals

Chapter 12 : A Short Talk

As the decision to go to Beylin Temple of China to pick up two of the 'escapees'— Rei and Mao— was made, Takao, Ginga, and everyone quickly ran for the airport.

"I hope we're not too late to pick them up!" Takao said, quickening his steps.

"Whoa whoa, Lil' bro! Be careful with your steps!" Hitoshi warned, watching his younger brother almost tripped.

"U-Uwaah!"

"Gee, Tyson. I know we must hurry, but don't be so hasty!" Hiromi pointed out with a huff. "Having you with injuries won't help us!"

Takao yelps at the remark. "G-Gee, Hilary! Don't say things like that! What if it really happens?"

"Well, then it's your fault!"

"Say what now?!"

"Y-You two..." Hitoshi couldn't help but sweat-dropped as he saw the two teenagers bickering while still running for the airport. It's a question for the older Kinomiya how the two teenagers can avoid trees and other obstacles on the way while they're still bickering.

"Are they always like this...?" Ginga inquired in wonder, glancing to Hitoshi.

The older Kinomiya chuckled. "Well...pretty much."

Later...

The good beybladers finally made their way back to their plane. Masamune, Zeo, and Toby were the only ones outside, and hastily run to the plane.

"Hurry, HURRY!" Masamune quickened his steps. "We're the only ones still outside! C'mon, Zeo, Toby!"

"W-Whose fault is that, huh?!" Zeo exclaimed aloud. "Masamune, can't you just resist the temptation to buy some chips EVERY TIME we're about to go somewhere?! Remember the time we almost miss out flight to Japan JUST because of you taking TOO LONG to choose chips to buy?!"

"G-Gee! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Masamune apologized. "T-They're irresistible, alright?! So—!"

"Guys!" Toby cried aloud with a sigh. "Can we talk about this later? Look over there! Hitoshi told us to hurry!"

"Uwaaah!" Masamune cried out in frantic, picking up his speed, leaving his two friends far behind.

"H-Hey!" Zeo cried out in protest, running after Masamune. Seeing this, Toby sighs and followed the two—

"Heeeeeeey! You three!"

—when suddenly a loud, familiar voice cried out behind Toby, making him turn around.

"Wha— C-Coach Steel?!" Toby exclaimed in shock. At this, Zeo and Masamune stopped on their tracks and whipped around, finally noticing a bald man catching up far behind them.

"I would like to talk a lot, but it seems you guys in a hurry, so...!" Coach Steel raised an arm up. "Catch!"

"What the— Ack!" Zeo didn't have time to finish as suddenly, something thick slammed onto his face before it fell into his arms. "Ouch... Ngh? A box?"

"Sorry, Zeo! But Masamune had his hands full of plastic bags and I was actually aiming for Toby, but well..." Coach Steel trailed off, shaking his head. "Look, I actually want to ask everything— I saw the three of you ran out of the 'Fair Centre' building everyone talked about this evening on my way back to Dungeon Gym, and I did call for you, but it seems you're focused on something else."

"Wha— r-really?!" Zeo gasped. "S-Sorry, Coach Steel! We truly didn't notice!"

"And then I heard Masamune shout something about you three and some others going to China... Is that true?" Coach Steel asked, his hands fidgeting slightly.

Masamune— even being the farthest from the coach— can somehow saw that. "Coach Steel... You're worried about us." It sounded more like a statement than a question.

Coach Steel blinked, and was silent for a moment before he chuckles. "Sharp as ever, eh, Masamune?" he uttered with a sigh. "Well, to be honest...yes, I am. Last time, I saw you three going to Japan, telling me all will be fine. But then there's that WBBA competition that ends abruptly. And then 'Dark Organization'. And then...this."

Coach Steel crossed his arms, looking to the three of them with a smile. "But hey, this is you I'm talking about. I believe you all can get through this... Guess it's been a habit of me to worry for my students, hahaha. My apologies."

"N-No! It should be us who apologized!" Toby protested. "We didn't even contact you when we're back to America, and then now when we're about to leave again! Everything with that 'Dark Organization' just happens so suddenly! We're...we're sorry."

Coach Steel shook his head. "It's alright. A lot has happened. I don't blame you all," he said reassuringly. "Truth is, I want to tag along to make sure you're alright, but someone needs to look after Dungeon Gym. And hey, who's the best one for that other than me?" He laughed at the last statement.

"C-Coach Steel..." Zeo uttered.

"Well, sorry to hold you up!" Coach Steel pointed forward. "Go! May you succeed in anything you're going to do! Just know that me and everyone will be right at Dungeon Gym when you came back to America. Good luck!"

Toby, Zeo, and Masamune smiled widely, nodding to their coach.

"We won't disappoint you, Coach Steel!" Masamune exclaimed aloud, before he turn around and ran for the plane. Seeing this, Zeo and Toby followed the suit.

"Stay safe, you all!" Coach Steel cried out, waving his hands to them.

...

Upon reaching the plane, the three teens saw Hitoshi smiled at them.

"You sure you want to tag along?" Hitoshi asked them. "That guy you talked to back then... He seems so worried of you."

The three of them grinned.

"Coach Steel can be pretty serious, you know? If only he knew the full story of what happened, I bet he'll scold us if we choose to stay," Masamune said with a chuckle. "He truly needs to hear what happened though. Do you mind if we tell him later? Probably with Madoka's video chat thing."

Hitoshi chuckled. "Of course. He's your coach, after all. Now go to your seats— we'll take off as soon as possible."

"Okay!" the three teens said, rushing into the plane.

Hitoshi looked up, finding the bald man the three teens talked with— Coach Steel, he recalled— gave him a thumbs up before walking away.

Hitoshi smiled at the sight. "I hope this will end well," he whispered to himself, turning around and walk inside the plane, with the door closed not long after.
