Master Tigress was proud and strong, as a kung fu master and as a woman. But that did not make her any more prepared to convey certain feelings to her friend - indeed, it may only have contributed in making it even more difficult.

Odd feelings somewhere in her chest, tingling in her stomach, especially strong while she was training or otherwise hanging out with one of her friends in particular, had made her life difficult and rather awkward lately. But she was not one to back away from a challenge, and indeed, she would not back away from this one, either. She would let him know about it, thus lifting the weight from her heart, and she would not care even if his response was a less positive one. Not much, anyway.

But never was she going to do it face to face. She could never do that, never dare to look at him and try to tell him something of that sort. Never. And so she had come up with an alternate plan, that had ended with her prowling in the wilderness outside of the Valley of Peace.

It was late summer. Grass was everywhere, long and lush, and the landscape was full of bushes and other places for her to hide in. The sun was high up on the sky, warming up the landscape rather extensively. Everything contributed into her target, her quarry, being completely relaxed and unaware of her presence... all was according to the plan.

Tigress pounced.

Minutes later, perhaps half an hour, Po heard a nervous knock from his door. He discovered no one there wishing to talk to him, but when he looked down, puzzled, he saw a piece of a vast riddle:

There, lying on the wooden floor, was a small bird, a crow. His eyes were shut tight, his weathers ruffled, and it rather looked he had been through some rough times. He was completely and utterly unmoving... until he opened his eyes and looked directly at the panda.

"I think she likes you, bro," he said. "That tiger girl, I mean."

"She does?", asked Po.

"Yup. Just, for heaven's sake, please tell her to learn to express her emotions in a less painful way!", he wailed, before he got up, clearly in some pain, and managed to fly away.
