Hi all! Once more, you all deserve far more than my heartfelt apologies for my apparent abandonment. Contrary to popular opinion, I do still want to continue this story. I'm always very busy, but to be honest, I could make more time to write.

The truth is, every time I sit down to try and continue Fallen, I can't quite bring myself to do it or even read over previous chapters. I was quite a lot younger when I started writing this story and a lot of the criticisms of it from a few years ago resonate far more now that I am out of my teens than they did a handful of years ago. I find my writing until the very last couple of chapters quite immature and I don't think I explored aspects of the characters' personalities, or interactions with others, as much as I could have.

I cannot in good conscience continue the story without going back and editing what I've already written until I feel it's at my current standard of writing and understanding. This will involve a bit more research and a lot more consideration. And hopefully a lot less youthful naivety and romanticism. Slamming my writing or comparing it to others isn't something I really appreciate. I've read most of the other stories around and know the authors fairly well - I'm well aware of the shortcomings in my own writing but there's a difference between flaming and constructive criticism. I'd direct you to the first chapter of the story for a longer explanation!
