"Is that why you kept me away?" Eddie looked at his father curiously. He still couldn't believe that only and hour ago, he'd found out he was the Osirion and saved Nina. He wasn't quite sure what that meant, but he planned on getting some answers.

"I'll tell you everything you need to know." Mr. Sweet replied. "But not here, and not now."

Eddie opened his mouth to respond, getting rather frustrated with the way his father was avoiding his questions, but he looked over his shoulder and saw Patricia enter the room. She saw him and smiled, reaching for his hand to pull him on to the dance floor.

Eddie shot one more glance at his father, and allowed himself to be led away. He would interrogate him more later...

"Hey," Patricia said as they began to dance. "What were you talking to your dad about over there? You both seemed kinda nervous..."

"Just trying to get him to tell me more about this whole Osirion thing." Eddie replied. "But, I can ask him later."

"Yeah," she said. Then, after a moment she added, "You know you're still an awful dancer, right?"

Eddie chuckled. "You know you still talk too much, right?"

Patricia smiled for a moment, then her expression turned serious. "Eddie...there's something I need to tell you."

Eddie gulped. Uh oh. The last she'd said that, she'd told him that he needed a better mouthwash. Did he have food in his teeth?

"About...what you said when you were blindfolded." She took a deep breath, becoming more and more visibly nervous by the second. "I need to tell you...that I...feel the same way."

"Really?" Eddie grinned before he could stop himself, quickly changing it into a smirk. "Because...Hmm, what did I say down there again? I hit my head really hard today..."

Patricia glared at him. "Weasel. You're not making this any easier."

"Do I ever?" he smirked. "Say it."

"No! Come on, you know what I'm talking about."

Eddie rubbed his head and put a confused, pathetic expression on his face. "No, I can't seem to remember..."

Patricia sighed angrily, but the corners of her mouth were twitching. "Stop playacting."

"But I want to hear you say it." Eddie said, inching closer to her.

"Well, you're not going to."

He laughed and rolled his eyes. "I'll make it easier for you. Repeat after me," he said, his face just inches from hers. "Eddie, I love you."

Patricia hesitated for a moment, then looked up at him and smiled. "Eddie...I love you."

Eddie's face broke out into a grin as he cupped her face with one hand and kissed her. Slowly, she angled herself to kiss him back, her hands resting on his waist.

When the broke apart, a few people wolf-whistled, but Patricia was the only thing Eddie could see.

"I love you too, Yacker." he whispered.

The song changed to a slower tune, so Eddie held his hand out to Patricia. "May I?"

"Just try not to step on my feet too much." she joked, taking his hand. Eddie laughed and pulled her close, leaning his forehead up against hers.

The last few weeks may not have been the best for them, but now they had days and months and even years to make up for them. Eddie looked at Patricia and saw she was gazing back, in her angry-but-loving typical Patricia way. He would never get tired of that look, no matter how many days or months or years passed. He was her tin can, and she was his tank.

What I wish had happened in the finale (which was great otherwise) or something like it, because they were the only canon couple that didn't really get a conclusion. Not my best writing, and I know, cheesy, but I needed to get this out of my system xD Hope you enjoyed :3 Review?
