Drumrolls please people! I'm finally back! Well technically, I have been back for a little bit, but not with this story or this fandom for the matter. I have however written a crossover between Once Upon a Time and House for the past month, which I am pretty proud of, so go chack it out.
Anyway, I can't believe it has been FOUR YEARS since this story started and since I last updated. I was 14 back then, 8th grade. Now I have graduated... Crazy.
I will be going back to the previous chapters to fix some errors, but I do have to admit, I am surprised how good my English was back then! I hope you enjoy this though, it hasn't been easy getting back into this. I have to admit, writing for Once Upon a Time has come a lot easier to me than NCIS ever has. I would give a statement to recent events on NCIS, but this would get WAAAAY too long, so let's just say I was beyond disappointed, as many others probably were, too!
Please review and let me know what you'll like to see, because I am slightly clueless how to continue this. Also, I could probably use a beta for this story, so if you're interested, please let me know!
Disclaimer: I don't own NCIS.
Chapter 5
It was safe to say Tony and Ziva were both more than glad when Senior was finally gone a week later. Since they claimed not to be together in front of him, they didn't get to spend much time together while Senior was staying with Tony, knowing they couldn't keep their hands off each other.
Ziva used the time she was forced to spend alone to settle into her own apartment, finishing unpacking her boxes and organizing all her drawers and shelfs.
Senior had used Friday night to go out, after Tony bluffed he had to work late when in reality, he went to Ziva's apartment for their traditional Friday night movie.
"You know what's weird?" Tony asked after the movie ended. They were still sitting on the couch, Tony's arms around Ziva, her head resting on his chest while her arms were wrapped around his waist.
"No, what is it?" Ziva asked curiously.
"Gibbs seems to not suspect a thing about us. And he usually never misses anything." He stated.
"Well, I think he is just otherwise occupied." Ziva said, earning a puzzled look from Tony. "With the director. You know, I worked with her on a mission and she told me she fell in love with her former partner when they were undercover in Paris. Judging by both of their reactions when they first met in the squad room and how they act around each other now, I think that partner was Gibbs." Ziva explained.
"So, I guess that's where Rule 12 come from. Never thought Gibbs was one to fall in love on a mission." Tony grinned.
"Well, love is unpredictable." She said softly, looking up at him.
"It is." Tony whispered, staring into her eyes. Moving his face closer to hers, he softly brushed his lips to hers. She responded immediately, her arms coming around his neck, pulling his face closer to hers.
A few minutes later, Tony was on his back with Ziva on top of him, kissing him hungrily. He detached his lips from hers for a moment, sitting up slightly.
"Maybe we should move this someplace more comfortable?" he suggested. Ziva just nodded breathlessly, while Tony got up slightly clumsy, picking her up in his arms, carrying her to the bedroom, where they continued exactly where they left off.
They were awoken in the early morning by the ringing of a phone. Ziva's head rested on Tony's chest while her arms were around his waist and they both groaned in unison when they heard the phone ring. A phone call at this hour, it wasn't even light outside yet, Tony suspected it to be early morning, could only mean they had a case.
"DiNozzo." He answered, his voice still heavy with sleep.
"Get your ass here, we have a dead lieutenant." Gibbs said, not waiting for a response. Seconds later, he received a text from Abby with the address and Ziva's phone started ringing, with Gibbs giving her the same message.
Tony was glad he went home to change before heading to Ziva's place last night, otherwise he would have had to go to work wearing the same clothes he wore the previous day.
Unwillingly, they both crawled out of bed, Tony collecting his clothes from the floor while Ziva picked something fresh to wear out of her closet.
"I suppose we can't ride on the same car?" Tony asked.
"We can just say I picked you up on my way. It's not too far-fetched, your place isn't far from here and everyone knows you don't get out of bed easily under normal circumstances." Ziva smirked.
"Hey, who said you were driving?" Tony exclaimed.
"Well, it's faster. And I can get out of bed easily, it wouldn't be very believable if you drove." She reasoned.
"Well, yeah, but you'll get us both killed!"
"I DO NOT! I have everything under control and now stop whining and get in the car!" Ziva ordered, not leaving him more room to argue.
"Fine," Tony grumbled and did as she said.
Once at the scene, Kate shot Tony a knowing glare, while Ziva explained she had to ring Tony out of bed as the reason they were both that late.
"You totally had a sleepover." She said in a hushed voice when everyone got busy examining the scene.
"Sleepover? What are we? 5?" Tony shot back.
"Well, in your case, that could be accurate." Kate smirked.
"And how is my private life your business?" Tony asked.
"Well, you never care about our privacy, why should we care about yours?"
"Kate, DiNozzo, stop arguing and get to work!" Gibbs interrupted.
"On it boss." Tony replied, glad Gibbs broke up this argument, knowing he would have lost because Kate made some valid points.
Back in the squad room, Kate and Tony were stuck doing research as punishment for their argument on the scene, while Gibbs, McGee and Ziva were out for further investigation.
"So, did you stay at Ziva's place or didn't you?" Kate asked curiously.
"Again, why should I answer that?" Tony asked.
"Well, you're my friend and I'm interested in how your relationship is going." Kate explained.
"I did stay at her place." Tony admitted. "We had our traditional Friday movie night and I needed to get away from my dad."
"So everything is going well?"
"It is, I just hope we can keep it this way, with Rule 12 and all." Tony said. "You know, it's crazy, I have waited to see her again for 10 years and now that she is finally back, we can't even be together without hiding because of Gibbs' stupid rules."
"Maybe you should just tell him." Kate stated.
"Are you crazy? He'll kick my butt right off the team, or even worse, send her back to Israel. We can't risk that!" Tony responded.
"We wouldn't do that. He's not a monster, I'm sure he'll understand." She said.
"Not so sure about that." Tony mumbled before returning his attention to his computer screen.
They were both oblivious to the fact that Abby was standing right next to the elevators, overhearing their conversation. A wide grin had spread on her face. She had suspected something was going on between Tony and Ziva, she had just not been sure, yet, but now she had proof. It sounded like there was more to the story, though, so she knew she had to get more information somehow.
