(A/N~ I wrote this post epi 7x16 after I lost a bet with KD Sanders. It's a lost moment after Girl's Night.)

Reid saw the taxi pull into the drive. "Do you guys have any idea what time it is?" He was trying not to show how upset he was. And worried. "What's wrong with JJ?"

"She just enjoyed her dance with the green fairy," Emily answers him as she pulls JJ into the house. Both women collapsed on the floor in a pile of flesh and giggles.

Spencer rolled his eyes as he helped his friends to their feet. He guided JJ to her bedroom and left her to fall into bed, fully clothed. He returned to the living room to see Emily sitting on the couch. His pulse quickened a little every time he saw her. The sun was rising over the horizon as he approached her.

"Would you like a ride home?"

"Yes, please," she answered him. He helped her to her feet and out the door into the cold February morning air. He opened the car door and she slid inside.

"You know, Spencer, I've been thinking," she started.

"You're still capable?"

"Haha," she said. "Maybe it's time for you and I to go public."

"Is that my girlfriend or the green fairy talking?"

"Could be both," she said, gently stroking his leg.

"I think we should have this conversation when you're sober."

"Probably a good idea," she agreed.

When they arrived at Emily's apartment, they both went upstairs and climbed into her queen sized bed. He lay there with her in his arms, thinking about all the stolen moments they'd had. This whole relationship had been taking place in secret since October. He thought they might be found out when they showed up at an emergency call on Halloween dressed as Tinkerbell and Peter Pan. No one had noticed, though. Maybe Emily was right. Maybe it was time they went for full disclosure. They'd done a pretty good job hiding it from the rest of the team. He felt sort of bad for keeping the secret from his best friends, mainly JJ. He told her everything. He rolled over and tried to get some sleep, thinking about the triathlon later in the day.

When they were both awake and eating breakfast, Spencer brought up the subject from the night before. "So, you still think we should go public?"

She hesitated before answering. "Yes. We should. Knowing them, they probably already know."

"Probably. We all knew about JJ and Will before she came out and told us."

"Then we'll tell them today. After the race. Which we need to leave for now," Emily pointed out.

"Okay," he agreed, taking her hand and leading her down the stairs. Today was going to be the day he told the world that he loved the most beautiful woman on the planet, and she loved him.
