Wendy took a deep breath and thought, 'Lucy, Erza and you have always been like big sisters to me, that is why I know, I know your pain and suffering. I know that although you've been brushing away all the insults, you get hurt whenever people take you easy. That is why, I will do my best!'

Lucy admired how Wendy looked to serious and wasn't able to hold back a smile and about time thought, 'Wendy, you've grown up so fast and strong. Sometimes I think you are even stronger than I am despite me being older. So I will show you how strong you really are, I will draw out that potential sleeping inside you. So you'll never have to underestimate yourself again. You have always been looking for the opportunity to prove yourself, I will setup the perfect stage for you!'

The two mages stared into each other's eyes with unwavering wills, "But more than that I…" They took three big dashes away from each other and readied themselves to attack, "I've always respected you so I HAVE TO GIVE EVERYTHING I HAVE!"

The blue haired mage extended her hands and slowly took the deep breath, 'the ethermano levels here are not that high, but this would do.' "Heavens lend me your strength," she cried as her eyes and hair became pink, "Doragon Fōsu!" She quickly launched herself, to attack the celestial spirit mage. The young mage was in mid-air, right in front of Lucy, and started to land some punches. She landed herself for a split second, jumped and willed her body to rotate vertically, 180 degrees and hit with a kick.

The celestial mage was more than shocked to be able to counter at once. All she did was shield herself using her arms, then she let out a grin, "You really are strong, Wendy, I didn't expect you'd go all out at once. Are you can last long while consuming that amount of magic?" The blonde mage was finally able to escape from the attacks and ran towards the furthest side of the arena. "Gate of the Ram I open thee, Aries!" The two dashed forward to Wendy for their turn, "Wool shot," Aries fired shots of pink wool towards Wendy, which can cause her body to relax just by inhaling the smallest amount.

"Sorry, but that won't work, not in my dragon form," Wendy said as she inhaled every bit of the wool then, "Tenryū no Hōkō!" Air filled with wool came whooshing toward Lucy and Aries.

"Lucy watch out," Aries cried as Lucy and she jumped as high as they could to avoid the gas, but it was spreading faster because of Wendy's wind. "Wool wall," the zodiac created a high wall elevating her and her master at the same time absorbing the wool shot." "Thank you, Aries, now before you go I need you to do one more thing."

"Of course," she replied. A thick smoke screen out of wool covered the whole arena. The young dragon slayer tried to blow away the screen, but more just keep on coming. "Okay, this should give me enough time," said Lucy, "Star Form: Cancer!" Soft yellow lights enveloped her and Cancer, the great grab was summoned, "Ebi!"

"She summoned the hairdresser," Natsu was confused until the screen showed the two.

Lucy's hair grew shorter and she was wearing a half shorts, half pants outfit with tank top. The blonde mage is now wielding giant scissors as well. 'She's coming,' she thought as she felt pressure rising from below the enormous wall.

"Lucy, did you know," the dragon slayer's voice was echoing and getting louder, "I recently learned how to fly without Carla. Tenryū no Yokugeki!" Whirlwinds surrounded Wendy's arms and feet to elevate her. She was about to land another solid hit to Lucy when the celestial mage released a nervous smile, "I have a feeling I'll lose in mid-air battle, let's take this to the ground." She let herself free fall from the tall wall and landed safely and significantly faster due to the gigantic scissors. Cancer was also on the ground.

"Now that Wendy is within range," Lucy and Cancer swung the two sheers swiftly they created disturbances in wind, they were so precise that the winds didn't let Wendy touch the ground.

'I – I'm having a hard time breathing, how is this possible,' the young mage exclaimed in her mind, 'I – I just have to open my mouth, then I'll be fine." She forced her mouth open, then slowly but surely she was able to cease all the winds the two giant sheers were making, "Tenryū no Hōkō!"

Before the dragon roar can even hit Lucy and her spirit, "Close gate of the crab!" With that the spirit was gone, and Lucy alone was left skidding across the arena floor. The ringmaster was already counting but she somehow managed to get back on her feet, "You really are strong Wendy."

The younger mage did not give a proper reply instead ran towards her, "Banīa, Deusu Ekuesu. Let's end this Lucy." Upon chanting those words, she gained immense speed and physical strength. When she just right in front of Lucy, she steadied herself and was about to punch, but Lucy was in her Star Form: Sagittarius, so she was able to follow her movements and catch her fist with her palm. "Got you, and just right on time."

'The sky maiden backed away and when they were about three meters apart, her opponent was covered in white smoke. She saw shadows of two small creatures, "Gemini?"

"Star Form: Gemini," Lucy ascended from the great walls and she was now a taller version of Wendy in Dragon Form, Gemini was the exact same copy of the young mage, but only in a better condition.

"Aries, one more time please," Lucy asked and the ram immediately targeted the wool wall with 100% fluffy wool, which can cause hazy visions. The two breathe heavily and engulfed the wool wall "Ūru no Tenryū no Hōkō!" Dragon's roar covered with wool that relaxes the muscles of the target and causes her to have blurred vision. Wendy attempted to inhale it, but she sensed that her time was almost up. She was about to exit her dragon form.

"Jōtai Ijō Kaifuku Mahō Rēze," she instead chanted a spell to raise her resistance to body anomaly. She thought she survived the attack, but just when she shifted her body forward, she wasn't able to control herself and completely fell into a deep sleep. Wendy's hair and eyes returned to normal and the ringmaster started with the countdown, "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! We have a winner!"

Lucy raised her fist then immediately landed on her knees, "Thank you for that fight, Wendy. You really are strong."
