Not a cloud was present in the sky as the sun shone, the majestic entity spreading across the sky; its rays glimmering brightly as they danced across the vast expanse; the birds chirped a merry tune as they sang their song, celebrating the beginning of another day, one of renewed hope. Despite the signs of nature surrounding her, this was a sad day.
The end of an era one might say.
After years in each others presence their time had come and now they had to part ways for good.

The Conference had long ended and she was stuck listening to Egbert Hellibore as he had droned on; even back then he'd never been able to shut up for longer than two seconds without telling some, no doubt exaggerated, tale about how he has slain dragon such and such.…
She had happened to glance over to the far corner of the room; an almost invisible yet hypnotic pull forcing her eyes to look and the minute she had she couldn't look away. A smile broke out lighting up her features and in that moment she knew she had found the one.
