I always wondered what the children of dragonriders would be like...so meet Medea, the only nursemaid that specializes in dragonrider's children in...well, just about anywhere. I'm not sure if I'll keep going, so R&R and maybe it will.
Medea grabbed the little boy by the hair and pulled him away from the edge of the cliff. "What did I tell you?" she snapped, swinging the little boy into her arms. "You can't fly."
"But I'm a dwagon wider!" Vaelon screamed. "And Daddy says-"
"Dragon riders can't fly, sweetie." She laughed, settling him onto her shoulders. "Only dragons can fly. Remember?"
"But Daddy is gonna take me flying! And I wanna pwactice!"
Medea smiled and shook her head. After all her years as a nurse-maid, this little boy was by far the most challenging case she had ever faced. "Tell you what. Let's go home and wash you off, then we can practice flying. Is that alright?"
Vaelon humphed but finally let her carry him all the way back to the manor.
So...should I continue? Please review. And I'd love some suggestions for more kids, or whether I should go more in-depth with Vaelon.
