Chapter Six

Nami was hiding at the moment wondering how on all the blues she was going to get off this island; that was until she saw the new ship docking. This has been one of her most dangerous jobs so far in her life. She knew she was not safe until she was off the island and far away from this fleet of a pirate crew. Only reason at the moment she was sure she would get away with it, was that Don Krieg was at the moment staying in the pub. He had been their for the past two days and nights and was staying the night again. Well that is where she hoped he would be.

So while the crew where in town she had snuck on the ship the first day it taken awhile to search it but the money she found. Well this was her biggest amount with one pirate crew, and she had only check three ships out of the fleet of ships he has. With the three she been on it was now a little over 20,000,000 belly to add to her collection. She had not even searched the flag ship. But the moment she did not want to risk it having heard his first mate Gin was staying on that ship at the moment.

She was hiding behind a barrel when she noticed a group of men leaving the newest ship that had docked at the island. A red headed man looked back at his crew

" Hey have Usopp and… Hey Benn who's turn is it to stay on the ship?"

The man who he turned to answered "That would be Yasopp and Alec."

Shanks smiled "Yasopp do we need anything?"

Yasopp nodded "I need to get a few things Captain I can grab them and then head back if you want?"

Shanks who was grinning nodded "Sure just don't take to long."

Yasopp jumped off the ship. Nami noted he was heading off with the rest of the crew, while joking and laughing. She turned and looked at the two men. Wait make that a man and boy left on the ship. A smile graced her worried face. She had just found her ride off the island. There was no news about this crew in the papers. They didn't seem dangerous at all. So biding her time she waited until she noticed the two men head off. Nami skillfully snuck on the ship and went to hide and look for their treasure.

Luffy was joking with Shanks while walking into the town seeing the people looking very nervous. An elderly man walked up to them. "Please leave we already in danger with one crew we don't need another crew here. The troubles that would happen if you have a fight. We are sorry but we have no money having already gave it to the pirate's that are already here. "

Shanks smiled at the old man, "We are not here to fight. Just restocking our ship. We plan to get some drinks while in town is all. It be a lot faster if you can take Yasopp and the men with him to get the things to restock. Don't worry we will be paying for everything." Yasopp waved to the old man who was in shock. "Lucky Roo you should go as well. That way you can restock the food and have the men carry it. Now sir which way to the pub." The man pointed and Lucky Roo and Yasopp asked where they needed to go.

Shanks and Luffy both headed to the pub with a bunch of the men unknown to them, just who they would meet.

Don Krieg sat in the pub thinking back on his life, while he was getting himself and his men shit face drunk. He smiled though not needing to worry about any pirates or Marines coming to there party. Since they see the marine warships and decided otherwise.

Don had not always wanted to be a pirate when he was young. No, he wanted to be a marine, just like his father and mother. He wasn't born in the east blue either. He been born and raised at the marine head quarters. Only thing that made him pause in that was when his parents where killed in battle thanks to the Pirate King. This was before he became famous it was before he fully sailed the grand line. This was when he still been sailing the blues. His parents had been in the North Blue on a job. That was when he became all along but a higher up Marine came to see him. He asked him if he wanted absolute justices for his parents. When he had told him yes, the Marine had him taken to an orphanage that was for kids who wanted to be a marine. They had trained him taught him how to fight. He tried really hard and was at the bottom for much of his time. But after a lot of hard work he pushed him self to be in the top five of the class.

When the time came he was eighteen years old, and ready to join as a full member. That was also the year the Pirate King was captured by his once hero Garp the fist. He was stuck on a chore boy duty and been fine with that. He worked real hard he knew that he would move up the latter. He put tons of work into being a fighter. He had even gone to see Vega Punk for some weapons. The weapons he now carries are the ones he was given in the first place.

With his weapons he raised to the top. Or so he thought he was getting to be close to a captain. When he was being transferred to the east blue. He been insulted and sent to work in the weakest sea. Not even as a Captain but a Prison guard. He worked at the prison that wasn't important like Impel Down. No this Prison held the men there till they where to be transported to Impel Down.

It was after being there for a year he heard the news. His hero Vice Admiral Garp would be coming to the East blue. The rumor was he was seeing if any one was worthy to come with him to Marine head quarters to train under him.

Garp was his hero because he was the one who brought in his parents killer in. He looked up to the man and wanted to be like him. He had known this was his chance of moving up. If he could get Garp to see who he was and what he could do maybe he be sailing with his hero.

That thought had changed when his hero had them all training in the courtyard. He told the cadets his grandsons could beat all of them. He started to laugh but one of the marines asked Garp the Hero how old they are and what rank they where. You think everyone would have heard of Garps grandsons joining the Marines.

"Oh them. They are too young to be Marines. But the oldest he is only 15 years old. Now the younger one he is 12 or is he 11… I don't think he has had his birthday this year; yet."

That moment angered him how could he say a child would beat him. Don Krieg he walked off and went back to work not caring who Garp picked now. He stood at his duty day in day out. Only to watch as the Bounty Hunters would bring in Pirate scum, Bandits, and all kinds of criminals. He watched as they would walk out with more money then what he would make in a year. It wasn't fair when he captured a pirate or any wanted man he did not get paid extra. No he got paid the same as anyone else in the same rank as him.

Then he started to build his plan, he would be a Marine no longer.

Krieg had to be careful with his plans. He started to talk to other Marines who where weaker than him. Who felt it wasn't right how they where being treated. Once he had a good amount he started to talk to the pirates who wouldn't be killed off to fast or sent to impel down. Making them swear their loyalty to him and only him if he freed them. The promises he gave with there life's was money, and as many woman they can find..

When he revolted it wasn't to bad. He still has the marine ship which at the moment is his flag ship. That was how he was able to get into this port. Right now not only did they take all the money but the city was to do what they wanted. He knew some of the good looking girls ran off. He shook his head thinking how he have some men go find them for him to enjoy.

That moment a bunch of men walked into the bar. A man who looked really familiar with red hair and scars on his eye. He looked to see a young teenager laughing at something he said. He had on a straw hat on his head.

"Hey what are you doing here?" He yelled at the people coming in.

Luffy looked at the men not even listening to what Shanks would say. He sent a glare at the man.

Don was so scared looking at the boy something about him made him feel as though he needed to stay away from that kid.

Shanks smacked Luffy in the back of the head "Luffy calm down. Now lets get something to drink and eat. Bartender round of drinks for my men and start bringing out your food as well."

"Shanks you didn't have to hit me." Luffy whined rubbing where the haki infused smack to his head had been.

Shanks laughed and some men hearing his name started to move out of the way. But the others where smirking thinking how lucking they where a big name pirate was here.

The men from the red haired pirates all sat down at the tables that where still open. Luffy was dragged to the counter by Shanks to sit with him and eat.

Shanks smiled as the bartender who was pouring a bunch of drinks and started to hand them out. When shanks dropped a bag of gold on the counter to pay it left the man in shock.

Don Krieg was a person who many would think as a smart person. The way he lied and tricked people to thinking he was safe until it was too late. Since he was always trying to avoid many fights you think he would try and avoid a new world pirate let alone someone who could fight Whitebeard. But no not this time he seems to think he would be able to get against one of the emperor's.

Don stood up and walked over to where Shanks was sitting and pulled a chair up next to him.

Shanks was taking his drink when he looked to see the man come sit next to him. Shanks quickly downed his drink and motioned to the bar tender to fill it up. Then turned to see Don was looking at him with a smirk on his face.

"Hello," Shanks said cheerfully though ready to defend himself.

Don smirked "so what brings you to this island?"

"The Bar, supplies, and some rest." He said and finished his second drink. Luffy though at the moment was looking around to see if he saw Gin anywhere having remember the man who starved and then let himself be poisoned.

Nami at that moment was climbing onto the ship seeing a man sitting in the crows nest while watching the other pirate ships. She saw another boy who looked to be a year younger than her walking around and acting brave.

Usopp was walking with his chest up in the air and holding a staff trying to act all brave. He then started to act as if there was an enemy there to fight.

Nami noticed the person on watch jump down with ease and walk over to him. "Yasopp boy come here."

Usopp jumped "Umm did I do something wrong?"

"Yeah everything. One you use sling shot right." The man said pointing to his hip.

Usopp nodded.

"Then what are you doing with the staff you're a long range fighter." He took the staff and seemed to be at home with it. He smiled "Name is James. I joined Shanks crew a year ago. Now I fight with a staff and sword I don't mind teaching you how to hold a staff and use it so you don't hurt yourself."

Nami was behind the barrel for around thirty minutes till a man who looked liked the boy came on deck yelling at the two for help.

James dragged Usopp over to start carrying gunpowder and the food supplies onto the deck. She looked over the railing to see more pirates heading to the ship with supplies.

Nami took that moment to go on the ship and hide.

A/N: So what should happen should Nami stay with Usopp and Luffy or should she escape?
