Hey everyone! So it has been a year (more than) since I updated but I'm here! Junior year of high school was insanely stressful omg, guys just get through school because education is the most important thing in this world that will benefit you.

However, this chapter is shorter than what I had wanted it to be so that's why I didn't update because I was planning so much more to write but instead I'll save all that for the next chapter so I can get back into writing again. I am updated with the manga so I am just going to ignore those events and go along with my original plan for the story, planning to update soon!

Chapter 22

"Hurry Up and Ask Her"

*What happened last chapter*

In the middle of practicing her script, Kyoko was able to memorize all her lines she needed, but she grew bored of her character. It was just the completely opposite of her! Suki was sweet, too sweet! How can she remain so calm in that kind of situation that's about to happen in her life? Kyoko still practiced and she was doing well, until a certain part made her fall asleep. Her head fell right on her desk and drool was already creeping out of the corner of her mouth.

It wasn't until Kyoko finally heard her cellphone ring that she woke up with a startle and answered. "H hello?" she groggily said- still tired from her nap.

"Mogami san?"a familiar voice came from the phone.

It took a while for Kyoko to pinpoint who the voice belonged to, but she figured it out. "Tsuruga san?" Even though she was aware that Ren was on the phone, she just couldn't react because reality still felt like a dream.

Ren chuckled, he could tell just she woke up.

"Would you like to go on a date?"

Kyoko was confused, "What's so funny? And sure Wait… WHAT?"

*A few minutes before Ren called Kyoko*

-At LME-

"You see my friend," Lory said, "There's only one way to cover a situation like this."

Ren knew there was another solution than what the President was about to propose.

Lory snickered, "All you have to do is take Mogami-san out on a date."

Ren immediately denied, "We've discussed this before-"

The President cut him off and waved his hand. "Yeah yeah yeah, but it won't really be an actual date, instead you're going to invite another person. This way the reporters won't assume anything is going with you and her."

"Who?" the model didn't like the sound of this.

"Your rival- to Kyoko's heart, is none other than- Vie Ghoul's Reino."

'Of course,'Ren suspected as much and it was unsurprisingly suspected that the president was going to make things difficult for him. "I'm sure that there is another way to-"

"Nope. There is no other way because well…I say so!"

Ren sighed, "Even if I ask Kyoko to go on a date with me, she will lose her composure. You know how she is when she misunderstands."

"Then just let her know it's all for show," then Lory smirked, "Or would you rather keep that a secret?"

"Pres-!"

The older man laughed, "I am going to call Vie Ghouls manager and make the arrangements. Let Mogami-san know to get ready in an hour because you wouldn't want to be late for your date now would you?"

With that, the president stood up and skipped away to make his call. Ren knew all too well that Lory was enjoying himself.

However, Ren's biggest problem was to call Kyoko, but he didn't know how to phrase the words to ask her out. Of course he asked Kyoko out in the past for breakfast and just surprising her sometimes because he wanted to be around her, but this time was different. They were going to go out to just clear a rumor so the paparazzi would see them together with Reino- the guy that Kyoko obviously hates, but it was going to solve the problem from the other day.

He paced back and forth trying to figure out ways to ask Kyoko.

'Mogami-san, to save you, you have to go out to eat with me and Reino… What'd you say...'

No… bad idea…

"Why is this so difficult?" frustrated, Ren sat down on the fluffy pink couch and closed his eyes. His fingers twirled his phone as he was thinking of a new plan.

Lory had just finished his call with Reino's manager and had explained the situation. The man wasn't really going to accept it but when Lory said the press would hear about it, well that persuaded him enough to have Reino go.

The president sat down next to Ren. "Sooo have you called her?"

"Don't worry, I was just about-"

Lory took Ren's phone and immediately typed in Ren's password and dialed Kyoko's number.

Ren was dumbfounded and looked at the President. "How'd you know my password?"

Lory smirked, "I have known you for a long time, and you're so unoriginal. You've always had your password as your birthday."

"I am not-" but the phone had already rung three times and a "H-hello?" came from the other end.

Ren smirked, she sounded like she just woke up.

Lory shoved the phone back to Ren and mouthed, "What are you waiting for? Ask her!"

"Mogami-san?"

After two seconds it seemed that she knew who it was. "Tsuruga-san?"

Ren chuckled, "I'm sorry, did I wake you?"

"Not really…" Ren knew this was a lie right when he heard a 'thump' from the other end.

"Are you okay?" He said in a concerned but as well amused tone.

"Mhmm-Sorry what was that?"

He chuckled again. "Are you doing anything today Mogami-san?"

"No I'm free today… Why?"

Right then and there Ren had finally thought of a way to ask Kyoko and was about to ask right when the President took his phone right out of his hands, winked at him, laughed and said to Kyoko… "Would you like to go on a date?"

"What's so funny? And sure Wait… WHAT?"

At a loss for words, Ren glared at the President.

While covering the mic, Lory shook his head. "You took too long, even though you were acting so cute I had to ask her for you! A lady needs as much time to get ready for a date."

With an exasperated sigh Ren took his phone back. "I'm sorry Mogami-san, the President just-"

"Oh the President!" Kyoko laughed, "I thought you just said that Tsuruga-san!"

"Yes, well actually I did want to ask you myself if you would like to go out and eat today."

Kyoko didn't understand. "Um…"

"You don't have to worry Mogami-san, the President wants us to have lunch with another cast member of the new drama."

"Oh okay," she smiled.

"So you wouldn't mind going?"

"No, I don't mind at all. I'll get ready then." In the background Kyoko heard the President laugh and she heard him say the word 'cute'.

There was a slight pause but Ren finally said, "Well then, I'll pick you up in an hour."

Sho was recording a song for his new album when a secretary rushed in a passed an envelope to his manager. When he finished, Shoko went up to Sho and gave him the envelope.

"It doesn't say who it's from, so maybe you should open it later," she said.

Sho smirked, "Sure, but it's probably a love later from a fan anyway. Hold on to it for me would you. Right now I want to hear how wonderful I sang just now."

Don't worry the next chapter is already planned, I just have to write it! Yay! OMG there's so much to write!
