A/N: My attempt at Leo/Reyna, because they are one of my new favorite ships and also happen to be two of my favorite characters. I hope I did both of them justice. I was going to put this in my Reyna collection, but it's more Leo-centric than Reyna.

Leo can't figure out why Jason would leave Reyna for Piper.

He first sees her when he walks off the Argo II. Her eyes light up when she sees Jason (how he loved it when her eyes did that), but they dim when she notices Piper and her hand entwined with his.

Yet Reyna's expression remains the same; cool, calm, collected.

(She has a shield up, just like him. But while he uses humor and jokes and tricks, she uses seriousness and solidity and leadership.)

She welcomes them to the Roman camp, along with Percy, who goes straight for Annabeth.

...

Being Leo, who always falls for girls out of his league, he immediately tries to flirt with her.

She shoots him down.

That doesn't stop him from trying again.

(The more she pushes him away, the harder he falls.)

"You need to loosen up, Rey-Rey," he says with a cheeky smile. She's used to him now; she doesn't shoot him down as much.

She merely responds with a roll of her dark eyes, continuing to give him a lecture about not blowing up things and to not call her 'Rey-Rey.' He barely listens to her actual words, paying more attention instead to her.

Finally, she finishes and walks away.

Leo just shakes his head with a grin. She's definitely got to have something for him. She'll forget about Jason eventually; forget how he broke her heart (even if it definitely doesn't show).

He's so much better for her than old Sparky, anyway.
