Sam was utterly humiliated. He tried to brush away the glitter as he pulled into the empty car lot but it was no use. It was like it was glued on and the only way to get rid of it was to buy new clothes. He stepped out of the car and stood in front of him.

"Okay, get it over with," he knew what was coming.

As his brother erupted into a loud laugh, a thought hit Sam. He hadn't heard that laugh in... years. Sure they had smiled at some dry humour but to get a laugh as hearty as this, felt good. He missed that. He missed laughing with him or drinking a beer on the side of a quiet road.

"What?" Dean quietened.

"Nothing," Sam smiled. "Carry on."

His brother was back, even if it was at his expense.
