Albus Potter hated doing his Prefect rounds. It was terribly boring when no one was sneaking around at night, and extremely embarrassing having to break up snogging couples all the time. That particular night, though, it was extra boring, since his fellow Gryffindor Prefect, Hugo, was in the hospital wing for Quidditch-related injuries.

He sighed. At least I'm done, he thought to himself as he trudged slowly back to the Gryffindor common room. He was walking by one of the many empty classrooms, when he heard a familiar giggle, and a shushing noise. He groaned inwardly, knowing full and well who it was behind the door; the only two people smart and sneaky enough to sneak in right under Albus' nose.

He sighed before pushing the door open, revealing his two best friends, Rose Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy, locked in a passionate embrace. "Really guys?" he spoke, startling the two apart. "You couldn't have waited one more day? Now I owe your dad five galleons," he said, glaring at Scorpius. "W-what?" Scorpius asked, a faint blush gracing his pale skin. "You were betting on us?" Rose exclaimed, appalled. "My father was betting on us?" Scorpius asked, shocked.

Albus nodded. "So were James, Fred, Mum, Dad, Aunt Hermione, Aunt Fleur, Lilly, Uncle George, and McGonagall," he said, numbering on his fingers. "Anyway, be back in your common room in ten minutes and I won't tell anyone that the Head Boy and Girl were sneaking out after curfew." With that, Albus left the room.

That's the last time I'm introducing my friends to my cousins.
