Hello, my friends! This is my first Alvon, and I hope you enjoy it. If you don't like this pairing, don't you dare flame me. It's your choice whether you read it or not. I just thought it would be cute. :)

Hint: Translations will come after the French words. If it's in bold print, that means they aren't really saying it out loud.

DISCLAIMER: I don't own Alvin and the Chipmunks. Please don't sue me.

I Wish I Could Speak French…

"La France est une par…party…part…ugh!" Alvin let out a frustrated sigh and banged his head against the desk. He had been staring at the same sentence for almost seven minutes, and he still couldn't get it right! If he couldn't get this, he would fail French class for sure.

"Alvin? Are you okay?" Simon looked up from his book. His older brother groaned.

"This is hopeless! Why is French so hard?" he complained. Simon smiled and walked over.

"Let's see…it says, 'la France est une partie de l'Europe.' France is a part of Europe." Alvin gaped at his brother.

"Of course you would know!"

"Would you like me to help you?" Simon offered. Alvin sighed and nodded. Simon skimmed over the page in Alvin's French book in search of another phrase.

"Okay. This one is: Comment faites-vous aujourd'hui? How are you doing today?"

"Je suis tress bien. I am fine." Simon chuckled.

"You pronounce it as 'trés', Alvin."

"Oh."

After thirty more minutes, the two had gone over ten more different phrases. Simon sighed inwardly. He flipped through the book a little more and found an interesting phrase. Fighting a blush that was threatening to cover his cheeks, he said:

"Tes yeux sont beaux."

"What?" Alvin could feel his cheeks heating up as Simon leaned closer.

"Your eyes are beautiful."

Alvin blushed and glanced away. Simon's heart was beginning to beat faster.

"S-Simon…" A new feeling was making its way into Alvin's heart. He remembered a phrase they had gone over earlier.

"Vous…vous faites mon coeur flutter. (You make my heart flutter.)"

Simon leaned in all the way and closed the distance between their lips. It was just for a few seconds, but it was enough to send fizzling sparks through both of them. Alvin suddenly felt a warm, floating sensation come over him. Simon smiled gently.

"Je t'aime, Alvin. (I love you, Alvin.)" Alvin smiled broadly.

"I'm so glad I speak French…"

And there you have it! I appreciate your reviews. But, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Flames burn!
