Perfect

Pairing(s): Sam/Kurt

Warning(s): Male/Male relationship

Prompt: 89 Perfect of 100 Drabble Table

Sam Evans was far from the perfect boyfriend Kurt had always imagined. His prince charming was always tall, dark, and handsome, loved fashion, sung every Broadway play known to man and could snap a quick retort at a moment's notice.

Sam, while tall and very handsome in his own right, was blond. Not even a natural blond (Please Sam, you're not still with this?). His bleach blond hair shone brilliantly in the sun and felt absolutely soft every time he ran his hands through the tousled locks. It wasn't what he wanted though.

The blond's wardrobe consisted of jeans, t-shirts, sneakers and of course his letterman jacket. Everything he wore (minus the jacket) were bought from Wal-Mart and if even asked about the designer, Sam would give and confused look and say, "Made this? I thought those kids in sweat shops people are always complaining about did." So not what Kurt wanted.

On one of their first movie date at Kurt's house Sam had looked through his collection and promptly asked if he had anything that didn't have any singing in it. Kurt in response had demanded, quite bitchily, why he didn't like any of the movies he had. The response of "I've never even seen…Evita? RENT? What the hell kind of names are these?" had given the brunet an aneurism. Not even close.

Sam was one of those act first think later type of people. It's not that he couldn't think of some quick response, it's that he really chose not to. Or so Sam keeps reassuring Kurt who had yet to see any evidence of such. No.

Sam Evans was far from perfect but Kurt figures he could forgive him and learn to love the sweet, affectionate, dorky sides of his boyfriend.
