A/N: A drapple drabble? Never wrote one before. Thoughts? Would it be too much to ask for a review?
Draco Malfoy casually tickled the pear and strolled into Hogwart's Kitchens. He strode up to the pantry. His fingers twitched in anticipation despite having done this multiple times. The house elves ignored this daily happening. Only Dobby considered warning the young Slytherin but his fellow house elf called on him to help with the dishes and he soon became too preoccupied.
Draco nervously reached out to open the pantry door. His fingers stopped before touching the handle. What will the other Slytherins think if they knew, he thought anxiously. Logically speaking, he shouldn't even be here. He should go back to the commons, but he wanted to go in the pantry. He needed to give in. His mind played this pointless battle every time. The pantry's beckoning always won out. His fingers clutched the handles and swung the doors open.
His eyes grew wide when he saw someone in his haven.
"Malfoy!" The girl inside shrieked. On the other side of the kitchen Dobby's head shot up. He knew he forgot to do something.
"G-Granger," Malfoy stammered. His eyes shifted first to her mouth where there was a trickle of juice and then to her fingers clutched around a perfect green apple with an imperfect bite out of it. His eyes narrowed. "What are you doing here?" He inquired sharply.
"I could ask you the same," she replied smoothly. She slipped the beauty into her robes and speedily brushed past him.
"Granger!" He yelled after her. Before he could pull out his wand she was gone. He growled angrily. She will pay for this. No one messes with his apple.
