Re-write of the saddest seen from 1x10. What if Charming doesn't let her leave without an explanation?

- I couldn't take the ending of 1x10 for Snow and Charming (though Mary and David caused me to faint).

I don't own Once Upon a Time, etc. The Mouse does.

Something wasn't right. Charming's emotions were swarming in his head so he couldn't put his finger on it. He more felt then knew something did not make sense.

Snow had her hand on the door.

"No.

Snow,

Wait."

Tears streaming down her face, she used all her will power to turn the knob and pull. But the door moved in the opposite direction and was forced shut.

Snow looked up into the questioning eyes of Charming for only a second before she had to look away.

When he sees her crying, he hugs her close again. As they part, she still can't bear to look at him.

Hands on her arms, he asks "What aren't you telling me?"

She can only sniffle. "Please...don't."

Coaxingly, "Snow, please look at me. Why did you come all this way just to tell me you don't love me?"

When their eyes meet, he can see the longing in hers and knows her words were false. "I don't believe you, I don't believe you can't feel this."

Her breaths catches as he palms her cheek and moves in slowly for a kiss. This time Snow's will power has run out and she doesn't back away. Far from it. Their lips meet for the first time. The saltiness from both their tears doesn't diminish the sweetness of it. They part for a second, breathes heavy, before meeting again, arms wrapping around one another to press together as close as possible.

As they part for air, it morphs into a tight hug. Charming says into her sholder, "So, what's really going on?"

Snow finally looks up into his eyes and places her hands over his beating chest.

"Your father found me before you did. He also found your letter. If I didn't convince you to forget me, he threatened to … to kill you."
Charming starts to shake his head, "That's it, I'm done with him." He moves to open the door. "I'm done with blindly following his selfish orders."

"No, wait, don't!" Snow physically pulls him back.
"Charming, calm down, we need to be smart about this. We need to think everything through."

"What did you say?" "WE need to think it through?" "We, as in us?" "So, those things you said..."

"O, Charming, it was the hardest thing I ever had to do; lie about the most precious thing in life to the one man I share it with..." Then, almost silently, right before their lips touched again, "love."
