Sorry if people are confuse but this is an actual dream that I had and I just needed to get it out. Jayne was actually in the dream, too bad it was just a dream.

Kaylee ran down to the Dock Master and was quickly stopped by him. He held her in his arms as he saw the tears run down her face. She had been running away from someone.

"Miss, what is wrong?" he asked very much concerned about her.

"Do you have a piece of paper and a pen. I must be quick about this." Kaylee asked looking about her frantically.

"Here you go, Miss."

'I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. I'm so sorry. I didn't have a choice. I was following orders.' Kaylee quickly wrote down before folding the piece and writing a name on the top.

"Get out of the way!" A deep, harsh voice, full of bleeding cuts, said as he made his way through the crowd.

Kaylee knew the deep voice could be dangerous when he wanted to be so she backed up into a corner, holding her knees to herself, hiding her face into her knees afterwards. The Dock Master had seen Kaylee's behaviour and stood in front of her to provide some protection against the Brute.

Jayne, the Brute, had seen the behaviour of the Dock Master and had followed his movements. Jayne had been able to see Kaylee behind the Dock Master. He made his way towards her, but the Dock Master, quickly stood up to Jayne to prevent him access to her.

"Get out of my ruttin' way!" Jayne repeated himself to the Dock Master.

"NO! She is scared of you. You will need to go through to get her."

The Dock Master and Jayne had a small altercation, during which the Dock Master got the upper hand and knocked Jayne down on his ass. While Jayne was down, Kaylee had looked up to see this.

Both Dock Master and Jayne were surprised to see Kaylee suddenly wrapped up around Jayne, her arms around his chest and her face was hiding in the crock of his neck with uncontrollable tears.

"I'm sorry, Jayne. So sorry. Please forgive me. I was just following orders. I didn't mean to leave you there." Kaylee said as she held on to Jayne tighter.

"It's alright, Kaylee Girl. Its not your fault. You've nothin' to worry about." Jayne said as he finally wrapped his arms around the girl and held her against him, refusing to let her go.

Jayne was able to get her to wrap her legs around his waist and he moved the both of them to sit down by the dock. He knew that she needed him to be there right now and show her some comfort.

"It's ok Kaylee. You can stop crying now. I'm here and not going nowhere." Jayne said as he kept rubbing her back.

Kaylee's face was still hiding against Jayne's neck, tears reducing to hiccups. "Shiny." She whispered as she gave a brief kiss to his neck.
