So, remember in TLO when Paul seemed to think that he was all awesome with a sword? Well let's see if he thinks he's so awesome now... :)

"Okay Percy. Let's do this." I had told Paul that I'd duel him, but at the time I was humoring him! So now Paul was brandishing a celestial bronze sword from camp that I'd loaned him. He'd said that we could just use some chap wood swords or even fencing swords, but I really didn't want to beat up my step dad. So even though he didn't know my reason, celestial bronze it was.

I stepped out of the hallway and into the cleared center of the living room, holding Riptide in pen form.

"Paul, are you sure you want to do this?"

"Yes Percy. I am. Why you don't seem to want to do it is beyond me. Now get out your sword already"

Paul had never seen Riptide expand out of its pen form before, so when I uncapped my weapon, Paul's eyes went wide.

"Okay. I'll take it easy on you."

And I meat really easy. As in, Paul was bored after a minute.

Two minutes later, I let him disarm me.

"Percy, monsters must die of boredom while fighting you."

"Okay, okay. I'll kick it up to my best." After saying that, a glint of evil ignited inside me.

"That's more like it! Come on!"

So the battle began.

It started out with me doing fairly better than the last time. To let Paul feel good about himself, I waited for fifteen seconds before popping it up a minor notch. After about three minutes, I finally let it all go, jumping up almost ten levels and pounding Paul with swings, hits, swipes, and more offensive moves.

Most of those ended up going through him. Good thing he was mortal and we were using celestial bronze, or else he'd be dead.

I finally used my signature move and caught his sword hilt, twisted, and made it clatter to the ground.

Paul stared at me. He was breathing heavily, as opposed to me – feeling that it was no big deal. And it wasn't anywhere near a deal if you compared that duel to one between Annabeth and me.

"Y-y-i-u-"Paul stammered.

"Yep. That was around my best. Best in camp besides Annabeth, actually.

Then he fainted.
