Notes: So, this is it! I've finally gotten to fifty chapters and I think this is a good place to end off. I haven't got much time on my hands anymore since I've started attending University and my muse for DP fanfic has slowly fizzled out. But, I had a wonderful time writing this story and I would like to thank everyone for their support and comments. I wouldn't have finished this without you guys :)
Love. It was indescribable.
For some, incomprehensible.
For Danny, it was absolute. It was the thing that held him together when he was on the edge of cracking into pieces. The love he felt for the few people in his world, it was powerful.
Love was what allowed him to protect the people he cared about. His parents, friends and innocent residents of Amity Park, the town that he grew up in. Though he was only young when this journey began, it solidified his thoughts and feelings that he possessed.
He loved his parents, their encouragement and pure love that they had for him.
His sister, who aimed to try and protect him when he was the one who was supposed to be doing the protecting. Her curious and studious nature when it came to school, and compassion towards others.
Tucker, and his companionship. His willingness to put up with everything that they've been through all while being a team player. He also had the ability to always put a smile on his face when he was feeling down, and was consistently there when he needed him.
Danny smiled. He wouldn't have made it this far without Tuck.
Then there was Sam. Her fierce sense of belief and passion in fighting for what she believed in. As with Tuck, she was also always there for him and would do anything for him. She was strong, and could defend herself when it came to conflict. She had a voice, an independence that made her so committed to her friends and family, even when they got on her nerves. Sam was...beautiful. Inside and out.
And he loved her, with all his heart.
Coming out of his daze, he glanced over to where she was unpacking a box in the kitchen of their new apartment.
"I love you."
She looked up surprised, a cup held in her grasp as she gave him a small smile.
"I love you too Danny."
