It was their first time to be intimate with each other and it was unlike what either had anticipated. It was more beautiful and wonderful than they could have imagined. The love they made created an energy that was practically tangible.
For Sev, touching and kissing Harry was like worshipping a god. Entering Harry was like entering heaven. As they looked into each others' eyes and their bodies merged to become one, Sev felt that their hearts, minds, souls, and magic were merging as well. He had never before understood or experienced the sensation of truly feeling like he was part of someone or someone was part of him.
As they made love the blocks of stone around Sev's heart began to crumble and tumble down. Each kiss, each caress, each stroke, each "I love you" chipped away at the wall. Never before had he opened himself up so, made himself so vulnerable and uninhibited, surrendered so completely, let someone in and see him, the real Severus. Never before had he given so much love, or received so much love.
When the stone wall around his heart came down completely, all that remained were floodgates and those were about to open up.
After they climaxed together, Sev collapsed onto Harry and wept. Harry wrapped his arms tightly and protectively around his lover. Instinctively he knew that he wasn't physically hurt, upset with him, or regretting their relationship or intimacy. Somehow he knew that it was just a release of overwhelming emotions.
Harry knew it couldn't have been easy for Sev to admit emotion, share emotion, especially anything that might be thought weak. Harry guessed that the vulnerability of making love (as opposed to just having sex or fucking) was a lot for him to handle. He didn't know for sure what Sev was thinking and feeling, but knew his prince needed comfort and reassurance that Harry was his safe place, that he could open up to him and that Harry wouldn't make him feel weak.
Harry rubbed small circles on his back. "So good," he breathed. "You made me feel so good, so loved... That was incredible. So beautiful... You're so beautiful…" Harry planted soft sweet kisses on his lover's shoulder, neck, cheek, anything and everything he could reach. Sev clung to Harry, burying his face into his chest. "Sssssshhhhh… It's ok…" Harry whispered as he stroked his lover's silky hair, like one might comfort a scared child. "You're so good to me. You take such good care of me. You've always looked out for me. You're my angel." Sev continued to sob, clinging to Harry even tighter. Harry continued to stroke his hair, rub his back, and plant soft kisses. "You're so strong and brave, my prince. You're the bravest man I've ever known. My brave knight, my sweet prince, you can lay down your sword and shield when you're with me. You can rest with me because I'm your safe place. I'm your shelter." Sev's sobbing began to slow. "You're my protector, my angel, my hero, my knight, my prince. I love you so much." Sev lifted his head to look at Harry, unashamed of his tear-streaked face. Sev began to caress Harry's cheek. "I love you, Harry. More than words can say."
They kissed each other sweetly, softly, and held onto each other as they drifted off to sleep.
