'So you're shagging the midwife?'

'Midwife? She's not a midwife.'

'I know, I just felt like saying midwife.' said Fred, and propelled a bit of chocolate into his mouth. George laughed, shaking his head - but well aware of the feeling that came with having a word to say but no appropriate place to use it. 'But you two are shagging right?'

'…Well,' mumbled George, tilting his head. 'Not… exactly….'

'How is it not exactly? Did you get half way into it and then went oh, hold on, we can't do this exactly, it has to be not exactly?'

'Don't be a smart arse, you,' growled George, and cuffed Fred in the head. Fred hit him back, George retaliated once more, and they kept at it. '"Not exactly" because I haven't shagged her.' He could feel Fred's eyes on him. His lips twitched in echo of his twins'. 'Fully.'

'Fully!' There was a loud guffaw, and Fred bumped into his side, nudging and nudging like an excited puppy. 'Then you have shagged a bit of her.'

'It's not exactly shagging if I haven't done the full deed, is it?'

'They're the exact same thing, George.' huffed Fred.

'You know what I mean.' George rolled his eyes. 'It's not legitimate shagging if I haven't gone full-out.'

'I suppose not, but you've gone slightly-out.' Fred clicked his teeth. 'You've done a bit of DJing with her.'

'Oh God,' moaned George, and put his face in his hands. 'No innuendo comments of yours, thank you very much. Save my sanity by bypassing.'

'..You've tickled her fancy.'

'I'm leaving,' He laughed, disgusted in a manner, and stood to trot towards the front of the store, where he knew he'd find Verity.

'You've hit her spot!'

'What's he on about?' Verity lifted her head curiously, trying to peer around him.

'Never you mind.' grinned George, and risked a quick peck. No one was looking anyway.

'You've poked her right!'

'Oh.' said Verity, an expression of understanding blooming over her face as Fred's cries came from the back. The guilty grimace on George's face gave away the game as well. 'He's on about us.'

'Yup.'

'…He's pretty lame at coming up with those sorts of things, innit he?'

'Yup.'
