"You wanna get some dessert?" Tony asked slightly nervous.

"No, I don't think I will." He had shown up at her front door with no advance notice demanding she hurry up and get ready because they were going to be late, for what she didn't know and here they were an hour later eating as if Tony hadn't nearly dragged her out the house.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I am."

"How about some cake? I heard their chocolate cake was awesome." Tony almost pleaded, the woman was addicted to sugar yet the one time he wanted her to eat it she wouldn't.

"I'm positive, now are you ready to go?" Ziva didn't know why but Tony seemed almost mad that she had said no to cake.

"How 'bout some cheese cake?"

"Tony what's going on?" He had been jumpy all night and it was about time she find out why.

"WELL IF YOU'D ORDER SOME DAMN DESSERT I'D TELL YOU!"He shouted slightly embarrassed as the other diners started starring.

"Fine, I'll have a piece of that cake." What was the matter with him?

Five minutes later a slice of chocolate cake was placed infront of her and she huffed, " Now that I-" but she cut herself off as she noticed what was resting on top of her cake. "Is that a-" but once again she was cut off by Tony this time.

"Ziva David will you marry me?" She was shocked, did he really just ask her that? She shook her head trying to clear it.

"Oh, well that's ok" he said getting off of his knee and sitting back down a bit awkwardly. That had not gone how he planned.

"What?" She had completely missed what he said.

"I said it's alright that you said no." Although it really wasn't.

"Tony you're an idiot." Had she just called him stupid on top of rejecting him? Talk about letting a man down easy, but before he could say what he thought Ziva was right in front of him. "I would love too."

"What?" He was confused.

"I would love to be Mrs. Anthony DiNozzo." That should be clear enough.

"You said yes?"he was ecstatic. "She said yes!" Wow could his night get any better.

WAIT,had he just willingly accepted spending the rest of his life wit a trained assasin? OH CRAP.
