Something There

When Remus was very, very young, his favorite thing in the world to do was watch Disney movies. Day in and day out, he would sit in front of his Muggle mother's old VHS player, watching all sorts of movies, from dawn to dusk. To his great later shame, his favorite movies were princess movies, in particular Beauty and the Beast. Even after he was older, he would sometimes lug out that one in particular and sit quietly watching it, and in his heart of hearts he knew it was because he hoped that somehow his werewolf beastlyness would disappear, with a kiss, perhaps..

of course that never happened. But watching Beauty and the Beast so many times made Remus quite memorize most of the songs.

"There's something there," he hummed to himself with a sly grin on his face as he watched James and Lily chatting cheerfully by the fire, "there's something there that wasn't there before.."
