Hey y'all.

Wow. Writing this is incredibly surreal. It took me a hot second to even remember how to publish. But… here I am. And here you are. Presumably, at least. I might be shouting into the ether, but aren't we all?

Well, anyway, this is a message to any fans of this story who are left. And if you are there, sorry this isn't the years' awaited update you might have thought it was.

But, I recently got a review for this story, and with the world being as it is, I was prone and susceptible to a bout of nostalgia. So, I started skimming these old chapters, and god are they old all of the sudden. I was a 16-17 yr old kid when I started this story (yes…yes I know, this story was incredibly self-indulgent, and looking back it's more than a little cringeworthy.) Now, I'm somehow an engaged adult with a house, two dogs, and a full-time and then some job. How did that happen?

I digress. As I said, I received a review a few days ago, got to skimming, and while yes, there was a lot of cringeworthyness, and dear god did I need a comma and pacing lesson (funnily enough, I've become a full-time editor, so I sincerely know how bad some of those sentences were), I also remembered how this story really got me into writing. So much so that I went and got a bachelor's degree in it and now pursue it as a full-time career.

I owe a lot to Daryl & Audrey, and I owe a lot to you, too, dear readers and reviews. I can honestly say every one of you changed my life with your encouragements and compliments.

Life's been a little hard around the world, recently, though, so as I skimmed through the truly epic saga that is this behemoth of a story (seriously, how did I ever have the time to write this much?) I realized how much fun it was, to lose myself in this old tale.

I've been needing a little fun lately, and I got to thinking maybe it's time to be a little self-indulgent again, too.

SO! With that being said, I want to revisit Daryl/Audrey. They feel so unfinished. (Dear lord, they never even KISSED after nearly 30 chapters. How did y'all put up with me?)

But… I don't know if I have the amount of time necessary to continue the story as it was. It's been years since I've re-watched TWD, and previously, I really did follow every episode beat for beat. And there are like…..so many more seasons now. I barely started s2 haha.

Still, I really do want to revisit Daryl/Audrey, maybe oneshots of various scenes, pivotal moments, something.

So… I'm turning to you, dear readers, if you're out there. What are some Daryl/Audrey scenes you've literally waited for for years? What are your self-indulgent desires? What do you want to read?
