""WHAT!" Vice Admiral Garp's face turned red and spit flew from his mouth. "Ace had a kid?" A vein in his forehead the size of a whale started pounding as if it was trying to escape.

Coby, a little marine with a big potential, stood straight, watching his superior. Even though he was trying to act brave and strong as he stood there, he was also trying to hide the fear. He was tightening his hands and forcing his body not to tremble, which didn't succeed entirely. "Y-yes, I'm afraid that's the c-case, sir." he stammered, while trying not to look directly in to the frightening Garp's eyes.

Garp groaned and placed his corpus behind his desk. "I just thought this mess would be over by now." He hid his face in his remarkable big hands, while his face slowly got its usual color back.

Garp had adopted Portgas D. Ace, as his grandson, when he was a child. His mother had died, while protecting him from the government, and well… His father was the former pirate king Gol D. Roger. And that was why he needed the protection. And why his whole life it was kept a secret who his real father was. But Ace died. Everyone thought that was it. Gol D. Roger's line was broken. Until this day.

"Get out…" he said with a low voice. Everybody in the room looked a bit confused. He looked up. His face had changed into a confused old man's face. "Please get out." He repeated, and slowly the people around him started disappearing. "Not you." He whispered and pointed at Coby.

Coby flinched. "N-not me?" He said almost inaudibly. The last person left the room, and Coby stood very still.

"How do you know this?" Garp's voice where very low.

"W-we found a l-letter." Coby stammered.

"A letter?" Garp looked up. Coby fiddled in his pocket. He finally pulled up a crumbled letter.

Garp took the letter. He read it. Very carefully. "Something about a girl in West Blue... And that he might have gotten her pregnant… And she actually had his child…" Garp smiled. He always thought that Ace was a little… careless. Ace never thought of the consequences his actions might have. He just did what he thought he needed to do.

When Garp was done reading the letter he looked at Coby again. "Where is this kid?"

"W-we don't know." Coby was looking rather sick, and his eyes began to overflow. His cheeks were burning red, but he tried to remain calm anyway.

Then Garp's face suddenly changed into one big smiling blob. "Great!" He yelled. Coby was paralyzed. His face looked like one big question mark. "Nobody can know about this… Well except the people who just walked out." Garp laughed loudly. "Just tell the guys, I'll take care of this, and that kid wont live much longer." Coby was confused. But he did what Garp told him to do.

Garp was left alone in the room. He found an old wanted poster. Ace's grin shined from the old, soiled poster. He smiled. "I'll find your kid." He folded the poster, and put it in his pocket. "I'll find… it.""

This was the first time the marines ever heard of Ace's child. With a family history of pirates. With Gol. D Roger as grandfather. A little kid with the potential to rule the world.
