"What exactly is a Chicago Street Fight?" Lex asked as she eyed the script in front of her skeptically.

"It's basically exactly what is sounds like." Phil replied.

"But this isn't happening in the street. Man I really miss the attitude era when people would beat the hell out of each other in parking lots with street signs."

"Normally I would agree with you but at the same time I'd rather not end up with road rash with my skull caved in."

"Yes I do rather enjoy looking at that face. So please do your best not to break it or I might have to trade you in for a better looking model."

He bit down on his lower lip. "Is that so." He took the script from her hands and threw it to the other side of the room.

"Hey I was reading that!" Before she knew what was happening she was on her back with him over her. His hard muscle pressed firmly against her softer flesh.

He grabbed both her arms and held them above her head, effectively pinning her into place. "Would your knew trade in be able to do this." He grinned at her before beginning to place open mouth kisses down her neck. His beard scratched against her skin in a painful yet very pleasurable way.

"Don't start something you can't finish Punker." He stopped what he was doing to look up at her with a dangerous smirk set on his oh so kissable lips.

"Who said I wasn't planning on finishing what I started." The evidence of what he had planned was pressing noticeably against her thigh. "I've been thinking about this all day since I saw you in that skimpy little outfit for the photo-shoot this morning. At first I was so pissed that everyone got a glimpse of what is mine and only mine."

She hissed slightly when he bit down on the spot where her neck met her collarbone, there would definitely be a mark later on but neither of them really cared about that. She tugged at his hair to bring his head back up and crashed her lips into his as soon as he did.

"I'm in no mood for foreplay right now Brooks." She ran her tongue over the side of his jaw.

"You sure do know how to test a man's reserve look at you sitting there in skimpy shorts and a tank top that leaves nothing to the imagination. He let go over her hands and placed them on either side of the tank top soon a ripping sound could be heard.

"What the fuck Phil that was my favorite tank top!"

He winked at her in that all too rare playful way of his. "I'll replace it. Besides the view is so worth the money."

She wanted to scowl at her but he had already moved his head back down her body and was doing sinful things with his teeth and tongue. He kissed his way down to the waistband on her shorts before looking back up at her.

"Lift up." He ordered.

She did as he requested and was soon completely bare before him. She frowned because the skin to clothes ratio was way too uneven.

"You have way too many clothes on for this to be fair." She pouted slightly before sitting up and helping rid him of his shirt. "Better but still not fair."

He made quick work of the rest of his clothing before joining her on the bed. Sighing the moment he has sunk into her warmth and just staying still for a moment savoring everything.

"Punk are you in here?" They both heard Chris' voice and just looked at each other.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Phil exclaimed. "Maybe if I don't answer he'll think we aren't here and leave."

"Or he could walk in right now." Phil grimaced. He might not be her biological father but he didn't think it would be any better having Chris catch them in the act than Scott.

"I'm a little busy right now Jericho." He called back. "Can it wait?"

"Well considering the pay per view is in a few hours probably not. What are you doing in there anyways."

"Me." Lex couldn't stop the laugh that left her throat after she called out.

"OH MY GOD!" they both could hear the discomfort in Chris' voice. "In the middle of the day. On a bus where anyone could just walk in and did."

"Well this moment has been ruined." Phil bit out as he got off the bed and began putting his clothing back on. "But we will continue this later."

Lex could lie and say she wasn't nervous about meeting the woman that "adopted" Phil as her own when he was a teenager. But she knew it was important to him even if he wouldn't say so. She was still mortified from earlier in the day after being caught by a surrogate parent she might as well continue on with the discomfort. She tried not to think about the way Chris wouldn't exactly meet her eyes when she finally emerged from the bedroom.

There was a knock on the dressing room door and soon enough there was a whole tribe of people who loved Phil just as much as she did. She was just so grateful that Natalie was among them. She knew the older woman would get a kick out of the incident earlier and it would be nice to be able to share her mortification with someone who wasn't there when it went down.

"Lexie this is my mom." Phil was practically beaming.

"It's so wonderful to finally be able to meet you Alexia." Rae-Lisa said before embracing the younger woman.

The ever-vocal Lex was at a loss for words. What does one say to the "mother" of the man she's in love with? Sure she had met Adam's mother but she hadn't been in love with him.

"I'm sorry it took so long for this to happen." She genuinely was sorry it had been so long but hey she met her and that was all that mattered.

"So Chaleen how are you feeling about fictionally being labeled an addict?" Lex asked.

She just shrugged. "I'm sure I've been called worse at one time or another."

"I'm just looking forward to this stupid storyline to be over." She rolled her eyes but then stepped closer to the young woman as to not be overheard. "He won't admit it but I think it's taking its toll on him. I'm sure deep down it's bringing up memories he'd rather forget."

Chaleen glanced over at her older brother who was laughing with their mom. "He's a survivor that one. And I am glad he has you. You are good for him even if he doesn't know it. We all think so."

Lex blushed at the complement. "I suppose I'll keep him around for a little while longer."

"Loo-Loo you wound me." Phil, having heard the last part of the conversation dramatically placed his had over his heart.

"So Lexie when is your graduation?" Natalie asked.

"Next month I leave in a few weeks to take my last finals and then I am done. The ceremony is on May 10th."

"I'm sure your parents must be so excited to watch you graduate." Rae-Lisa empathized. She knew some of her proudest days were when her kids graduated from both high school and college.

"I think they are more relived. There was a time when they were very much prepared to never see me graduate and now the fact that they get to makes it even more special for them."

Everyone in the room but Lex seemed to notice the grim look that crossed over Phil's face when Lex spoke of the uncertain past that everyone that loved Lex had to face, himself included. Part of him still hated himself for waiting until the very last second.

"But I was never worried." She wrapped her arm around Phil's waist. Her comment was more for his sake because she knew where his mind had went automatically. She wasn't sure if his family knew about what had happened and she wasn't going to be the one to tell them if they didn't.

"Well we should be getting to our seats." Natalie reminded everyone.

"Philip you be careful." Rae-Lisa kissed her "son's" forehead.

"I will mom." He wanted to roll his eyes but part of him liked that a mother figured cared enough to say the words anyways even if he was a grown man.

"Kick some ass big brother." Chaleen gave him a hug before they all left the locker room.

"Those people really love you ya know."

"I have no idea why but yea they do." He shrugged feeling uncomfortable with her observation.

"Don't get all self deprecating on me now Brooks. Whether you like it or not you have people who love you unconditionally and aren't going anywhere so just get used to it."

He cocked a brow. "It that so?"

"Mmmhmm." She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss. "Be careful and I love you."

"So it would seem." He rested his forehead against her's.

"And don't let Chris hurt that face of yours because I like it just the way it is. I'll be back here cheering you on with Randy." Lex wasn't accompanying him out like she normally would because she was written out with a kayfabe injury at the Raw earlier in the week. Vince thought it would add more fuel to the hatred between Punk and Jericho if Punk's woman was hurt at the hands of Chris Jericho.

It didn't matter that Lex knew that everything was scripted and her boyfriend wasn't really as hurt as he was selling, she still winced every time he was hit. Not saying it wasn't an amazing match because it was and she was so proud to have been part of everything leading up to it. But still this was the man she loved being beaten up.

"So are you doing anything to celebrate your graduation?" Randy asked. Of course he already knew because he had received an invite to her graduation party he was just simply trying to distract Lex from worrying about Phil.

"My parents have already rented this huge hall. Which I totally get why they are doing it but it's not really my style. I'd be fine with a nice family dinner and calling it a day."

"Let them have this Lex. Their daughter almost died." Randy tried to put himself in their shoes as he was a parent and couldn't even begin to fathom what it must have been like for them. "Besides I'm always ready to party."

She cocked a brow. "Who said you were invited?"

"Your mother by way of invitation that was sent to my house. Sam already RSVP'd for the three of us. Alanna has her dress all picked out and everything. She's very excited to see her Auntie Alexia graduate."

"Oh god. She invited everyone didn't she?"

"No I think just the core group plus the McMahons." Randy supplied.

"She invited the McMahons!" Not that Lex was bothered that her mother invited her bosses. She was more shocked than anyone else.

"Well Lexie it was Vince who decided to broadcast your story to the world. Sure Chris was the one who brought it to his attention but if it wasn't for Vince bringing it to everyone's attention you very well might not be standing here before me today." She hated to admit Randy had a point.

"And what a sad world you'd live in if that were the case." She smirked at him.

Her attention went back to the monitor just in time to see Chaleen slap the taste out of Jericho's mouth. She outright laughed at her surrogate father's expense. His character was being an ass and most certainly deserved it. But she was curious if that was improvised or added to the script last minute. She held her breath when Chris lunged at the younger woman obviously she knew Punk was going to go for the save it was obvious.

She couldn't help but feel it was nice to just watch a match every once in a while. It brought back such wonderful memories of her childhood before her life had turned so insane in a very good way.

"Did I ever tell you I hated Punk?"

Now that caught Randy's attention. He looked at the woman next to him in surprise. He couldn't see how even if it was briefly that she could hate the man she was now clearly so in love with.

"How is that even possible?" he asked.

"It's a long story." She shrugged. "But anyways I was wrong and he never has to know about it because I obviously don't hate him anymore."

"Well I should hope not as you are like two seconds away from marrying that man."

She scoffed at that. "I don't need a piece of paper and an older than dirt ceremony to tell me I belong with someone for the rest of my life."

"So are you saying you plan on spending the rest of your life with him?"

"Shut up and let me watch the match." Randy grinned satisfied with being able to read between the lines.

"All I'm saying is that you should name the first kid Randy." She shook her head in exasperation at the man but it wasn't worth the argument.

"This is just hypothetical because I am NOT having children but if I did I would want their name to have a special meaning to me and not to make your ego even bigger than it already is."

"I happen to think Randal is a very nice name."

"I hate to break it to you but Randy is the British slang for horny. So no I'll pass." She smiled to herself proud of her little dig at the man.

He huffed from his spot beside her but deep down he didn't really take much offense to it because he knew she loved him.

When finally the match was over Lex couldn't help but be relived. No more taunts about alcoholism or drug abuse. Not more implying that her boyfriend was going to become an alcoholic, which was obviously something, she had some personal experience with as well.

No now was a time when she could finally relax and actually enjoy her job. Not to say she didn't enjoy it during the whole feud, it was amazing to have everyone she cared about with her all the time but she was done with this damn storyline and if she never had to live it again she'd be a happy woman.

She found herself dozing with her head on his shoulder. She was just at the point where she was in that peaceful state right before sleep.

"His name is Dan." At first his statement confused her. "He's an electrician and I am damn proud of him for facing up to his demons."

"Her name is Diana and it took her daughter being born 10 weeks premature and spending the first three months of her live in the NICU to get her to clean up her act. The sad fact is I shouldn't be here right now. The doctors told my parents I wasn't going to survive but by some miracle here I am against all odds. They said if I did make it I'd never be able to walk or talk. But here I am."

It shocked him a little bit to hear her somewhat tragic beginnings. To have not only beaten the odds at birth but to have survived not one but two battles with leukemia it only made him in awe of her even more. But the more he thought about it the more he realized he truly didn't deserve to have her. She deserved to have someone who loved her with their whole heart, someone who would give her a stable home and a family that even though she said she didn't want he suspected that someday she would. But he was just too damn selfish to give her up. Even if it meant destroying her in the process.
