So this was somthing that was playing in my mind for quite some time. Let me know what you think.

After they graduated from Hogwarts they lost contact. He heard that she got a job as an author and got really famous with it but that was all he knew.

He went to Romania with Charlie. He only heard from his family occasionally and they never talked about Hermione.

Five years after graduation he came back to England. He wasn't part of the Weasley family anymore. They had grown used to his absence and didn't keep contact with him. Even now when he was back home they barely acknowledged him. He was a stranger to them.

He hoped he could find Hermione so they could get back together and they could start their own family. He hadn't counted on her moving on tough.

He searched for articles in the paper for a clue of her life. He didn't find anything, which was strange because of how famous she was and he knew she always made sure everyone knew the truth about her so no rumours would appear.

This wasn't like her. She was a confident woman, she never had anything to hide...

A year passed and Ron found himself reminiscing. He thought about their first years at Hogwarts and what they had been through. They were practically raised together! How come he couldn't find her now?

He even went as far as looking for Harry and Ginny and asking about her but they wouldn't say anything.

When he finally saw her again he didn't talk to her but he didn't need to either. He thought it was a bit weird to see her at a Quidditch game though. The game was Chuddley Cannons vs. Puddlemere United. He didn't remember her supporting one of these teams. He never even thought she would buy normal tickets to a game much less pay for top box seats.

After Puddlemere won he saw her make her way onto the field so he went after her. She was carrying a little girl he didn't notice before. The girl couldn't have been older than two years old, she had brown-blonde hair and blazing blue eyes he could see from his spot a few feet away.

She walked over to the players of the celebrating team. Two of the players broke away from their teammates and met her halfway. It was the only female player and one of the blokes who couldn't be told apart from a distance. She handed the girl to the woman in the uniform and threw her arm around the tall bloke. He noticed he had the same hair colour as the girl and the same blazing blue eyes.

Ron didn't want to believe his suspicions but what she did next however was the confirmation he didn't want. Hermione pulled back from the hug and kissed the bloke passionately. She ran her hands trough his hair, her wedding ring glistering in the sunlight.

Ron felt empty. He spent a year and a half searching for his smart, bookworm, know-it-all Hermione and instead he found happy, married, mother Hermione. The couple turned around to join the celebration and Ron caught sight of the name on the back of the bloke's robes. Wood.

Never mind, he thought, I'll find someone like you.
