Just for Me

Everything

For you.

Volunteering,

For you.

Surviving,

For you.

Becoming the Mockingjay,

For you.

Fighting the war,

For you.

All for your happiness,

All for your safety,

All for your freedom.

It didn't help,

It didn't work,

It wasn't worth it.

I won the war

But I still lost.

I lost more than a war,

I lost you.

I witnessed your death

I saw your life fade.

My little Primrose

Once so full of life,

Drained of everything.

You stayed so strong though,

Through the very end.

Was that for me?

I worked so hard to keep you safe.

I worked so hard for all of this.

Now I'm here,

He's here too,

The little ones are here,

But you aren't.

You entered into death,

But you stayed strong,

Just for me.
