Author's Note: Whenever I watch or read something I wonder if it's going to end like this even though that would probably be illegal and create an angry mob of screaming fans. I would probably feel cheated if this happened but a part of me would want to just laugh, the part of me that searches for trickster characters. So this is for the people that would laugh, whoever you are I wish I knew you.

This can't be happening! That was the thought that kept running through the mind of the Fan-Fiction writer as he read the reviews on the next to last chapter of his latest story. I've worked so hard for this to happen! He had worked hard, the only thing he had taken from the original story was the setting, the characters and plot were all from his own mind. He had been leading up to a twist ending for nearly 50 chapters, a beautiful, wonderful, marvelous twist, a twist that would give every scattered little detail a meaning, a twist that nearly everyone reviewing his story had just guessed. Not only that, but his devoted fans had pointed out every flaw possible in this ending, and ended their lists of criticisms by saying that they hoped he was smart enough to not be planning such a horrible and unsatisfying ending. The writer swore loudly as he tried to find a new ending. No other solution would fit; he knew that. No other way for his characters to escape the problem he had gotten them into would be possible. The only other option was to end the story with the death of every main character and most minor ones, and the failure of the forces of good over the forces of evil. The thought made him nauseas. These characters had been about to earn their victory, and now they were going to be slaughtered. The fans were going to be heartbroken, as well as the few characters he could believably save, but there was no other way. Just as the writer reluctantly started to type an idea occurred to him. There was a way out. But he couldn't do that! Why not? He thought to himself, considering the idea. The fans will be furious! He would never even consider this option if his readers knew his real name and where he lived. The same fans who tore the original ending to shreds? That was a good point; they really brought this on themselves. Making his decision, the writer laughed to himself as he began to type. They won't be able to say they guessed this twist!

Within 72 hours every fan of the writer's story was screaming with rage, nauseas with disgust for the writer, or cursing the last chapter in reviews. Soon the ending was better known throughout the website than the story it came from, and within a month everyone on the website knew the offending lines:

All hope seemed lost as the hero and his friends watched from behind the crumbling wall that would not protect them much longer. There was no possible way for them to travel 13 miles in five minutes to find the detonator and then get far enough away that they wouldn't be caught in the explosion themselves. Just as they were preparing to die fighting they heard a strange noise: VWORP, VWORP, VWORP, VWORP, and the creak of a door opening. "Need a lift?"
