First off, I would like to say I am so sorry for abandoning this story! In hindsight, the ideas are solid, but the writing not so much. I threw this together tonight because I wanted to give you all and ending to Leah, Embry, and Kiowa. Well and I also miss writing and being able to express my creativity again. Please let me know what you think! This isn't the ending. I am going to have a prologue in the end. I have to finish with the original idea. I was going to include just the prologue, but I thought it necessary and fun to include this chapter. I hope you all enjoy!

Sighing, I stared intently into the floor length reflective glass. The image that was echoed back was nearly unrecognizable. I fidgeted at the intricate ivory lace that clung tight to my body. It's not every day that the she wolf is classic and domesticated. Immediately, I was pulled out of my gaze as two warm hands were gently placed upon my near bare shoulders.

"Now don't you start, Leah," my mother's soft voice demanded. "You look stunning!"

"It just all feels so surreal, that all," I explained. I paused, taking in another deep and long breath. Since the moment I had awaken that morning, nothing had felt real. It was as if I were lucid dreaming the most wonderful and graphic dream the whole day.

"I felt the same when I married your father." Leaning over my shoulder, she placed a firm lipstick coated kiss on my cheek. Removing her hands, my mother's reflection faded from the mirror. "Here," she exclaimed while placing the long ivory tool veil lined in lace into the depths of my dark cascading waves that for once in my life are tame. "Perfect!" Stepping back, she directed, "Now turn in a circle so I can see you fully." I did as told, rolling my eyes in the process and hoping that she hadn't noticed. "Wow, Leah!" Tears began to well up in her eyes.

"Please don't mom!" I protested. "The makeup artist said all this," I rose my hand, pointed at my face and drew circles in the air to bring attention and highlight all the points of my covered face. "…was waterproof. I'd rather find she wasn't lying when I actually make it down the aisle to Embry and don't fall on my face in the process."

"I can't help it," she blubbered. "You'll understand when Kiowa gets married."

"The hell I'll let some hairy legged boy come near that precious angel of mine!" I joked.

A soft knock came across the wooden door, Seth snaked his head around. "Are you two done in here? It's would be terrible if Embry had to wait any longer to marry you." Seth cracked his coy smile of his in amusement of his own antics.

"Yes, just one last finishing touch," my mother said while reaching deep into her purse. "Close your eyes, dear." Per her request I did as told. The sensation of cool metal graced the inside of my right wrist as my mother shaky hands clicked the clasp shut. My eyes fluttered open, immediately focusing on my wrist. "It was a gift from your father on our wedding day. I want you to have it." I rotated my arm and watched in amusement as the light blue diamonds danced across the walls in the radiant sunlit room. I inhaled deeply, trying hopelessly to push back the tears that were forming in my eyes. "He would be so honored and proud to see you today." Firmly, my mother squeezed my hand and drew me in for a hug.

"Any day now," Seth groaned. It was apparent that he could no longer wait for the ceremony to begin. I could feel his levels of excitement.

I left the warm embrace of my mother's arms and peered into the mirror once more. Seth hurriedly clasped my hand and began to drag me through the door and to the stair case. In my retreat, I snatched the bouquet of lilac anemone flowers from the vase on the table near the door. "Seth slow down," I pleaded with a giggle laced in my words as he and I neared the edge of the staircase. He halted, let go of my hand, and extended it away from his body in the proper fashion of an escort. I proudly placed my arm in his. We descended the staircase together, with each step, my heart pounded harder and faster within my chest.

"Don't be nervous," Seth soothed. "Big brother has you."

I scoffed, "Hardly! You we're born way after me. Besides, I can still whoop your ass!" I quickly elbowed him in the ribs.

The playfulness ended as soon as we reached the overbearing French doors. Seth turned to me, gazing into my eyes. "You ready?" He asked. I nodded in response and took in a deep breath of air. I knew the moments the doors opened, the day would no longer be a dream, but reality. Facing back to the doors, Seth and I assumed our positions. Seth nodded to the men assigned to open the doors on his command. In unison, the men clasped the handles and the doors creaked open. The gust from the motion of the doors fanned across my face. I took in the smell of the forest nearby. Finally, a comfort to this bizarre yet satisfying day.

My eyes locked on the end of the aisle on my soon to be husband. I watched as his demeanor quickly changed, all of his focus aimed towards me. I heard the adjoining gasp as his eyes took in his bride, who was miraculously gliding down the grassy runway. Nothing in that moment mattered. All of my fear coursing through my veins, all of the eyes of the risen crowed examining me, and the tune of the standard wedding song all diminished into the background. All I saw was Embry. For a moment, I felt as if I were to float away from the earth, but he, kept me tethered. He was my grounding source. Suddenly, my focus was jarred as Billy who was the officiant of the wedding, began his speech.

"Who here gives this women to be married?" Billy asked.

Seth puffed out his chest and stated proudly, "I do." His grin spread widely across his face.

Rising up to the alter, I passed my bouquet to Emily and took both of Embry's burning hands.

Billy allowed for the wedding guest to sit and continued on with his sanctioned verses.

"Look at you Lee-Lee! You didn't trip," Embry joked, barely audible for anyone else but I to hear.

I smiled sheepishly. "There's still the walk back down the aisle." Ignoring all of my surroundings I allowed myself to get lost in Embry's warm embrace and dark eyes that were glued on mine.

"Embry, your vows," Billy announced. Embry did not respond. "Embry! Your vows!" Billy hissed lowly, gaining Embry's attention.

"Oh! Yes!" Embry exclaimed. His pack brothers that stood next to him began giggling at the exchange. Embry quickly cleared his throat as his shaky hands unfolded the crinkled page that had been housed in his pocket. "Leah!" Embry inhaled deeply. "I remember the summer day that we decided to go against our orders and quit patrolling for the afternoon. It was an abnormally hot day in LaPush and we were conveniently by the creek on the South border of the reservation. Without hesitation, we jumped into the cool water of the creek. I watched as you emerged from the water, droplets of the crystal blue creek glimmering in the bright sunlight. For the first time in months, you breathed a sigh of relief and I saw your bright and beautiful smile return to your face. You were free in that moment. Earlier that morning on patrol we had discussed imprints but you know what who gives a shit about imprints! With you it is my own choice. With you Leah, I choose you, each and every day. I will continue to do so until I meet our ancestors in the sky. There in that instance as we swam in the creek and the sun glistened in your freshly cropped hair, I knew I never wanted to spend a day without you. There you were happy. I knew that I had led to some of that happiness, as it was my idea to quit for the day. Though you'll say it was yours. I have loved you since that day forward, Leah. And not because you were happy. But because in the midst of all the shit life was throwing at you, you still found ways to be happy. Despite everything and how you were, I still saw the good in you. And, you know what, that bad, I love it as well. Leah, on your good days I'm going to love you. On your bad I'm going to love you. Because that's just it, Leah, I love you without qualms, without inhibitions, completely and just the way that you are."

Please let me know your thoughts. Again, I am sorry for not continuing until now.

- Much love, Korlee!
