smiling that cupid bow smile,

famous for never being aimed at anyone in particular,

and hitting everyone,

but right now, it's just for you,

and you love her

and she's laughing at you

and she whispers in your ear

"forget-me-nots"

she's making you promise,

and this is the one promise you intend to keep,

you promise to never forget her

and you wonder how you could forget her,

when she's right beside you

glowing with life

but in the dark of the night
